Victoria's POV

We walk into the hotel.

I gape at the beautiful high ceilings and chandelier hanging above us.

" Wow. " I gasp, unable to stop looking around.

" Vic?! " I hear someone say from afar.

I look forward and a smile quickly takes over my face.

" Matt! " I yell.

He drops his things and runs towards me.

He hugs me and picks me up, spinning me around.

" I missed my little sister! " he exclaims, as he puts me down.

Hayes comes up beside me and loops his arms around my waist, and pulls me into his side.

I look at him, and he's giving Matt a warning glare.

I gently elbow his side, and mouth 'stop'.

He looks away and loosens his grip on me.

Guilt starts to take over, and I start to feel bad.

I go on my tippy toes and kiss his cheek.

I see a smirk play on his lips and he pulls me into his chest.

" Come on love birds, we got to go! " Cam says, the other guys laugh.

I roll my eyes as we go upstairs to our floor.

Hayes and I share our room, making my brother very annoyed.

I don't care though, Hayes is good for me and he wouldn't do anything to hurt me.

I set my stuff on my bed and immediately crawl under the covers.

Hayes comes in and sees me in the bed, covered by pillows and blankets.

" It's so cold in here! " I say, pulling the blanket over my head.

He laughs and walks over to the thermostat, cranking the heat up.

" Thank you. " I say, still under the covers.

I hear him chuckle and turn on the tv.

The bed dips down beside me as he crawls in the covers with me.

"And what do you think you're doing?" I say, being as sassy as ever.

"Hoping to cuddle with you, as we watch this sappy movie, you're favorite." He replies, smirking.

My eyes light up at the mention of my favorite movie, Best of Me.

I pull the covers off my head and watch the movie intently.

RING RING RING

" NOT IT! " Hayes screams.

I groan and yank the covers off of me, and answer the phone.

" YELLOW! " I scream into the phone.

" OW! " Nash exclaims

I laugh into the phone and put it on speaker.

"You guys want to grab a bite to eat?" Nash asks.

I look at Hayes and he shrugs.

" Sure, why not. " I say.

" Great, meet at the lobby in 10! " Nash screams.

I laugh and hang up the phone.

Hayes gets up and sits at the edge of the bed.

I open my suitcase and grab a off white button up, a beige scarf, and light wash skinny jeans.

As I walk pass Hayes, he loops his arms around my waist and wraps his arm around me, hugging me from behind.

"Hayes, I need to get readyyyy." I say, trying to bite back my smile.

He pulls my all hair to one of of my shoulders, and gently presses his lips to my neck, sending shivers all down my back.

His breath raises goosebumps on my skin, and I can tell he's smiling.

"I love the effect I have on you." he says.

Before I can say anything he presses his lips to the skin behind my ear.

Goosebumps rise on my skin once again, although now I turn around so I'm facing him and he doesn't hesitate to press his lips to mine.

My hands find his hair and fingers tangle into it. His hands hold the small of my back as we kiss.

"I...should...get ready" I say, in between the kiss.

We part and rest our foreheads together.

As I sit up from Hayes' lap and gather my things he says the words that have never left his lips.

"I'm in love with you, Victoria."

A gasp escapes my lips and I turn around to look at him.

We've said we love each other many times, but being IN LOVE with someone is a different thing.

"Hayes..." I muttered

"You don't have to say it back." he says, looking down.

My heart breaks for him and my face softens.

I walk over to him and hold his face in my hands and lift his face so it will be aligned with mine.

"I love you, so much; heck I love you so much it hurts. But..." I trail off

"You're not IN love with me." he says, his voice cracking.

I look down, and allow a tear to fall down my cheek.

He lifts my chin up and softly presses his lips to mine.

I look up so his beautiful blue eyes look into my dark brown ones.

" I'm sorry. " I say, unsure of what else to say.

" Don't be, it simply proves that I love you more. " he says softly, a crooked smile appearing on his face.

AYE!

okay let's all agree that I shall never say that again! So as you can tell in the beginning of the chapter that is the outfit she planned on wearing to the dinner and will wear in the next chapter.
