Chapter Twenty Four

Shawn and I were finally getting a day to ourselves for the first time in forever. He said he had some news to share with me. We were in Mexico currently, so he decided to take me to his favorite Mexican restaurant here.

"What's the news?" I ask. He pulled my chair out for me to sit in. He then sat across from me.

"Well, you're almost 20 weeks, and I mean this in the best way possible, but you're beginning to show more and you wont be able to hide it for much longer, so I decided a way to announce it to the world" He says. I raised an eyebrow.

"Which is?" I ask.

"Let's plan a gender reveal party for the end of December. I have an interview on Good Morning America. We found reveal it to the world that day. Maybe during the interview." He says. I instantly loved the idea.

"That sounds fun" I say. He smiles so big.

"Good, because I already planned it. Alessia and Dallas are both coming too. Kasey is going to get the envelope for us and get the balloon" He says. Kasey was Alessia's tour manager. If it wasnt for her and the pregnancy tests she made Alessia keep on the bus, I probably wouldn't have known I was pregnant.

"Well, I'm excited" I say.

"That's not all either" He says. I didn't think he had more than one surprise.

"What's the other one?" I ask.

"This is a surprise from Alessia and I" answers. What wasn't Alessia telling me this time?

"Okay?".

"We're expanding the tour" He says. My eyes go wide.

"What?".

"We're going to add some more in the US and Canada. Now, I know it sounds crazy, but our last show is going to be in Louisville on July 11th" He says.

"Babe, we're going to be parents by then" I say.

"Yes, I know. I took the last two weeks of June off so we cound hopefully have the baby. I planned it there in that date fie two reasons. One being because that's Alessia's birthday, the other being I wanted it to end where it started" He says.

"That's not where your tour started" I say. He smiles.

"I know. That's where we started" He says. I couldn't help but smile at that. "And then we get to stand in the very same spot with our little one".

"You're going to be an incredible father" I say. He takes my hand in his.

"The first thing an amazing father would do is get a house for his family" He says.

"Babe, we can work on that later on" I say. He shakes his head.

"We don't need to work on that later. It's already done" He says. I almost spit out my drink.

"Uh, what?" I ask.

"I probably shouldn't have, but I already bought is a house for when after the baby gets here. It's in the Valley. It's got enough room for us, and Alessia, and Dallas. I want to be with family. If you're down, they're down" He says. It was all crazy how much he had already done, but I wasn't complaining at all. I do wish he had asked me about it first.

"Shawn, that's amazing, but you didn't even talk to me about it" I say.

"I didn't say anything because I wanted to prove I could do something good" He says. I guess this was his way of telling me he wanted to be a family.

"You always do good. Everything you do is done with good intentions, and I love you for everything you do" I say.

"Are you mad about the house, or the tour, or the interview?" He asks.

"Baby, I couldn't be happier about any of it. I love you so much and I can't wait for our little one. We already have the best family in the world. We can't get any better" I say. He smiles and holds up his water glass.

"To Family, and Forever" He says. I smiled and clinked my glass with his.

"Family and Forever".
