*Starlene*

I went out to library balcony later that night and it was there that I found Calder. He was standing at the railing. The moonlight highlighted his tall, lean muscular figure. And I couldn't help but stare at him. Even after being with him for so long and sharing blood with him, it was still so surreal to think that he was mine.

"Hi Star," he greeted me.

I blushed. He had sensed my presence through our blood sharing bond.

"Hi Cal," I greeted him. I walked over to his side and stood at the railing next to him.

"Remember when we were little and we used to come up here and look at how big the world was?" he asked.

"Yeah," I replied.

"And remember how I used to tell you that I was going to marry you when we grew up?" he asked.

"Yeah and I said 'only in your dreams,'" I replied with a smile.

"Well I'm hoping that answer has changed," Calder told me as he got down on one knee in front of me.

I gasped.

"Starlene Drake, I love you and I want to spend the rest of eternity with you," Calder told me, "Will you marry me?"

He pulled out a black, velvet ring box and opened it to reveal a gorgeous diamond ring.

"Yes," I told him. He slid the ring on to my finger and stood up. I stood on my toes and kissed him.

"I love you," he told me.

"I love you too," I replied.

"I've got to get back to the safe house, but I'll call you tomorrow," Calder told me.

I nodded. He kissed my lips and left the balcony.

Once he was gone, I rushed to Sorina's room. She hadn't been feeling well all day, but I knew that this news would at least make her smile.

"Rina?" I called out as I knocked on the door, "It's Star. Can I come in?" No answer. That was odd. I knocked again, maybe she hadn't heard me. "I've got amazing news!" I called out. Still no answer. I opened the door. "Sorina?" I asked as I entered the room. I looked around and gasped. Sorina wasn't here. In fact it looked like she hadn't been here since yesterday. The bed was cold and untouched. Alarm bells started going off in my head. Where was she? Had something happened to her?

"Damien! Selena!" I shouted.

They came rushing into the room.

"What's wrong Star?" Damien asked.

"Where's Rina?" I asked.
