*Sorina*

I looked out the window and saw that the moon was high in the sky.

It was time.

Time for us to break into Cygnus Keep.

Time for us to take back our home.

Time for us to save Damien and Starlene.

Time for us to put an end to all this.

Mason wrapped an arm around me and pulled me close to his body.

This was going to be a difficult battle and we both knew that there was a chance that one of us wouldn't be coming back alive.

"I love you," I told him, "Hold on to that, even when things get tough."

"I love you too, don't ever forget that," he replied.

I nodded.

"Rina! Mason! We're ready!" I heard Calder call.

We went out to the cars and split up. I saw Emberly and Stefan wrapped in tight embrace and they shared a passionate kiss before parting and going their separate ways. Calder, Mason, and Stefan drove off in one car, while Gabriel and Selena took the second one. Emberly, Raine, and I took the third car.

We made it to the edge of the grounds of Cygnus Keep and got out of the car

We made it to the edge of the grounds of Cygnus Keep and got out of the car. The others pulled up beside us.

We all got out and Calder turned to us.

"Okay, we'll have to go in on foot from here," he told us.

Unfortunately for all of us, Calder and Stefan's plan fell apart then and there because we were interrupted by a male voice.

"Freeze!" the voice shouted. We all turned and found ourselves surrounded by Hunters.

"Seriously?!" Emberly growled.

"Cal, didn't Star tell Blaze to override the lockdown protocol?" Gabriel asked.

"She did," Calder replied, "Something must have happened."
