Living the Now

Chapter 1

Tyler's Pov

I smiled down at my little girls. How did they grow up so fast? They start kindergarten in the morning. "How did they get so big?" I asked Daryan who stood next to me.

"I have no clue" he said. We walked out of the girls bedroom and into Carter's room. "Hey you ready to start high school tomorrow" I asked sitting on the end of his bed.

"I guess" he shrugged. Carter has always been like this we adopted him when he was ten. He doesn't have many friends and has always been shy.

"You'll make some friends bud" I said. "Thanks Dad" He said smiling. "Now you need to go to bed" Daryan said. "Night bud" I said. "Night dad, Night Papa" He said. "Love you" I said. "love you too"

Me and Daryan walked into our bedroom. I took off my shirt and put on some pajama pants. I looked down at my chest. I had my surgery three years ago but it still makes me smile everytime.

I snuggled into Daryan's chest and fell asleep. I woke up at six to my alarm going off.

I climbed out of bed and changed. We had a meeting with Carter's principal today because he had to change school districts because of bullying. "Get up babe" I said tapping Daryan. He groaned before sitting up.

I went to wake up Carter first. "Hey Carter time to get up" I said opening his door. "Ughhh" he groaned. "Up and at em we gotta be at your school at seven thirty" I said.

I stood up from his bed and pushed me out the door. I went into the girls room to find Daryan helping Spain pick out an outfit.

"Need some help Nevaeh?" I asked. "Yes please" she said. I walked over to her dresser and picked her out a pair of overalls that had shorts instead of pants and and pink t-shirt.

"You like this?" I asked showing her the outfit. She nodded and grabbed it. I walked downstairs and started making their lunches while Daryan made breakfast.

After the kids had eaten and checked their bags for everything. We all went out to the car. A fifteen minute drive to the school and it's 7:10. We dropped the girls off at school first.

Then we headed to Carter's school. We walked into the principal's office and the secretary told us she was waiting. We walked into the principal's office I my eyes immediately met Carly's.

"Hi guys" she said. "Take a seat please" Daryan shut the door behind him. We sat in the office with her talking about Carter and how his year would go for a good twenty minutes. She sent Carter to class at 7:50.

"It's nice to see you guys again" She said. "I don't want to turn this into a thing Carly, I only want the school year to go good for our son" I said. "I completely understand that Tyler, I'm sorry for the way I treated you in high school and will try everything in my power to make sure Carter is not bullied here" She said.

"Thank you" I said as me and Daryan stood up. Carly got up and opened the door for us. "You've transitioned well Tyler" she said as we exited. "Thanks" I said, and we left.

Me and Daryan headed home and he headed upstairs to get ready for work. I sat on the couch waiting for Lauren and Erin to arrive. I watch Camdyn on Mondays and Fridays when he doesn't had preschool and I watch Nate Monday - Friday.

Nate looks just like Kodi. I made Daryan a lunch at the counter and handed it to him as he left. A few minutes after his car pulled away Lauren pulled in and unbuckled Nate from his seat.

He ran in "Hi Uncle Tyler!" He squealed. "Hi buddy" I said. "Have a good day at work, Lauren" I said handing her a lunch. She went outside and got into my car, she left her van so I could pick up all 8 kids after school. I made lunch for Lauren everyday too, because they have been tight on money since Nate was born.

"Thanks Tyler" she said before rushing out. Moments later Erin pulled in. "Hey Cam" I said to Camdyn when he wheeled himself inside on his wheelchair. "Hi Uncle Tyler!" He said before wheeling off to play with Nate.

"Have a good day at work Erin" I said. "Thank Tyler, thanks for watching him too" He said. "Your welcome now go before you're late" I said. Erin walked out and drove away.

"You boys hungry?" I asked. "Yeah!" they yelled. "Want some cereal" I asked. "Please" Camdyn asked. "Okay go sit down" I said and they went to the table. I poured them both a bowl of cereal and took it to them with a sippy cup of milk.

They are quickly and I went and sat at my desk. Once the girls were born our YouTube died. After we adopted Carter we restarted the channel tho and we now are at 127,000 subs.

I was reading the comments on our latest video when Nate ran in. "We all done Uncle Tyler!" He said. "Okay bud" I said patting his head and re ran towards to play room.

I walked into the dining room and cleaned up their dishes. I grabbed the blog camera off the counter after I dried my hands from washing their dishes.

"Hey guys, welcome back to another vlog. Today has started off as any other Monday would here. I took the kids to school for their first day and now have Nate and Camdyn here with me" I said.

"I have to go grocery shopping in just a little while so I will see you then" I said shutting off the camera. I walked into the play room.

"You guys ready to go grocery shopping?" I asked. "Yeah!" They yelled. I always did grocery shopping on Mondays cause they love it.

"Let's go, get you shoes on Nate" I said and he ran into the kitchen. "C'mon Camdyn" I said he wheeled himself towards the front door me behind him.

I loaded them into the car and we drove 10 minutes to the nearest ADSA. I helped Camdyn into his wheelchair and unbuckled Nate. I lifted Nate onto my hip and pushed Camdyn's Wheelchair through the parking lot.

Once we got in the store I let Camdyn wheel himself and I put Nate in the front of the cart. Going up and down isles I picked up things for lunches, dinner items for the week, snacks for the kids and some water and soda.

I took the kids to the cash register and checked out our groceries and paid. Once I had filled the trunk with food and put the kids into the car, it was time for lunch.

I took the kids to McDonald's for lunch and ordered them a Happy meal each in the drive thru. After that we drove home I went inside and gave the kids their lunch at the table.

Then I went and unloaded the car and put away all of the groceries. After the kids finished eating I later them down for a nap in the girls bedroom. By the time they woke up it was time to pick up the kids from school.

I buckled Camdyn and Nate into their car seats and drove to the girls school. They were waiting in the line for me to get there with their teacher. When I pulled up they ran up and got in the car. Then the triplets ran up and climbed in.

Next I went to Lea, Erin's adopted daughter's school and picked her up. Lastly I arrived at the high school to pick up Carter.

He walked up with another boy. "Hey Dad! This is Blake" he said introducing his new friend. "It's nice to meet you Blake" I said. "you too sir" he said. "I gotta go my mom is waiting, I'll text you later k?" Blake said to Carter. "Mhm, bye" "bye"

Blake left and Carter climbed into the front seat.

Looks like the first day of school was a success for them all.
