Chapter 28

Daryan's POV

I groaned rolling over. A small body curled up next to me forced me to open my eyes.

"Kai why aren't you in bed?" I asked as he looked up at me with his big eyes.

"Daddy told me wake you up!" He giggled. I shook my head before sitting up.

"Where's your dad?" I asked.

"Leo" He said pointing at the door.

"Alright, Wanna go get some breakfast?" I asked.

"Yesh!" He giggled getting up and running to the door. I forced myself out of bed and towards the door.

"Morning sunshine" Tyler said as I followed Kai downstairs.

"Mmmm" I groaned "where are the other kids it's a snow day"

"My Dad took em out something up not getting enough time with the older grandkids now" he said "honestly I have no clue but hey he took four off our hands and Alena"

"Interesting" I said as I followed Kai into the kitchen. I gave him his medicine and then put him in his high chair with a bowl of cereal.

A few hours later the other four kids had just returned we had Lauren's kids too because Tyler apparently promised to babysit when there was a knock on the door. "I got it" Tyler said walking towards the door.

He opened it and stood there for a second "babe come here" he said. I walked over and Nemo, Oliver and Elliot were standing in the doorway.

"Surprise?" Nemo said.

"You sound like you're questioning that more than you should" I laughed resting my arms around Tyler.

"I am" she said "Oliver just got transferred here for a job and I didn't expect to be coming back for months"

"Wait your that Oliver that we just transferred from Australia" I said pointing to Oliver.

"We?" Oliver said

"Me and Eden my COO had to agree" I said.

"Well it really is becoming a family business now isn't it?" Tyler said

"Eh?" Oliver said looking between us confused.

"My Dad is Eden, Daryan is the CEO, My brother-in-law works there, Carter works there part time sometimes and your guy's cousin Kyle does too" he explained.

"Well are you guys just gonna make us stand out here in the cold?" Nemo said.

"Maybe we should" I joked. "I'm just kidding come in"

"Don't mind the mess I haven't gotten around to cleaning yet and we have my sister's four kids" Tyler said kicking a few toys to the side.

"It's fine" Nemo said laughing as we all walked towards the living room.

"Hey!" Tyler shouted over the loud noise. All the kids looked over at us. "Thank you, Spain, Nevaeh, Cora take your cousins upstairs to play"

"Alright come on guys" Spain said and all seven of them went running upstairs. That left us downstairs with Kai, Leo, Carter, Kylie, and Alena.

"Who are these people?" Carter asked.

"This is my cousin Nikki her husband Oliver and their son Elliot" I said.

"Nice to meet you" Carter said.

"Kai go upstairs and get your vest" Tyler said he nodded and ran upstairs.
