Carter's POV
I was walking back in forth in my room bouncing Alena she hadn't stopped crying since Kylie left. "Come on baby, it's gonna be okay" I said softly.
"Carter can you come down here please?" Dad called.
I walked downstairs and into the living room where Dad was standing with Kylie? Sam? And Jax? Where was Mark?
"Babe!" I said rushing over as fast as I could with Alena in my arms. I hugged her right as soon as I got there.
Kylie took Alena from me and immediately she stopped crying. I smiled. "What are you doing back?" I asked.
"It's a long story" Sam said.
"I've got time" I said pulling Kylie over to sit on the couch. Sam explained the whole story from the minute they left til now.
"So you're staying?" I asked.
"Yes, I'm going to legally adopt Kylie and we are renting an apartment from one of my good friends here in town" Sam said. I smiled brightly.
"Do you mind if we stay here for a while Tyler? Our apartment won't be ready to move into for a few weeks" Sam asked.
"Of course not, it's wonderful what you're doing for Kylie and my son as well as little Alena" dad said. "I will inform my husband" then he walked into the kitchen.
Alena was staring up a Kylie it was adorable. "I love you" I said kissing Kylie.
"I love you too" she said giggling. "we should take Alena out today celebrate a little"
"Sounds like a plan to me" I said. I hoped we didn't run into anyone from school. Kylie had been doing online school and I hadn't told anyone but Blake about her pregnancy.
I trusted Blake to keep the secret like I asked and he did which I'm grateful for him for. Blake was my best friend after all.
"Your phone's charged right Carter?" Dad asked walking back through the doorway.
"Yup" I said standing up.
"Alright you two can go out but be back before dark or text me and I'll come get you" He said.
"Thank you Dad" I said hugging him.
"You're welcome now go" he said.
I walked upstairs where Kylie was strapping Alena into her car seat. "Ready?" I asked.
"Mhm let's go" Kylie said picking up the car seat. We went and got Alena's stroller from the garage and headed towards the nearby park.
We made it to the park and we were stopped at bench when a couple kids from school passed. "Who's kid?" One of them asked his name was Flynn
"Ours" Kylie said confidently as she shushed Alena rocking her back and forth.
"Ew" He said before they left. I looked up and seen some storm clouds rolling in.
"We better get going looks like a storm is rolling in" I said. She nodded and buckled Alena back into her car seat. As we started home we were only about halfway there when it start down pouring. "follow me!" I said.
We rushed across the street and I unlocked the door to Blake's house we had conveniently been across the street and I knew where their spare key was.
His mom was at work so I didn't know if anyone would be home. I let Kylie inside with Alena before putting the key back and heading inside shutting the door behind me.
"Who's there!?" A female voice yelled from the kitchen. It wasn't Blake's mom and Blake was an only child. I was confused. Blake stepped out of the kitchen a moment later.
