Daryan's POV
I looked around the huge home. As a ten year old this is the biggest home I'd ever seen.
"Hey! Daryan! Come see my room!" Yasmin yelled from the loft. I giggled running up the stairs. She showed me her large room that was yellow her all time favorite color.
"Wow! This place is huge!" I said. At the time Yasmin was also ten she is only a few months older than me being Andrews twin.
"I know right! Mom and Dad said they would let me change it up if I wanted but I love it!" She giggled.
"Daryan! Come down here please" My mom yelled from downstairs. I sighed running downstairs with Yasmin in tow.
"Auntie!" I exclaimed hugging her. "I missed you" I hadn't seen my Aunt Faith in a long time she's my Uncle Harry's wife.
We ate dinner with everyone and we were cleaning up when my dad said "you can go back upstairs and do whatever you were doing with Andrew"
"But dad I was with Yasmin not Andrew" I said. "Her room is so cool!'
"Oh go on then" he said he sounded grumpy all the sudden.
I shook my head looking up at the loft. That was the first sign I think my parents got that I was gay. Of course I hadn't known that yet and as far as I knew I liked Katie and I was straight.
I walked into the living room where Tyler had turned the TV on and was looking for a movie on Netflix.
"What movie are we gonna watch?" I asked. I walked into the kitchen still able to see and hear him with the open floor plan of the large house.
"I'm thinking End Game on Disney+ instead" he said. Yes the movie came out five years ago but it was our all time favorite.
"I think that's a good one" I said grabbing a few sodas and some snacks.
I sat down on the couch next to him as the movie begun. I kind of zoned out a few minutes in.
"Dadddd when are we leaving I miss Katie" I whined. I was standing in front of my dad who sat in the living room with Uncle Harry.
"You need to spend more time around guys Daryan that's why I signed you up for football, you can't only hang around Katie your whole life" He replied.
"But I don't like football and guys are boringg" I said. "Katie is so nice! And Lauren is cool too! Their Dads treat me like their son!"
"Well you aren't their son Daryan and you never will be, you need to hang out with more guys last time you hung out with a guy other than Andrew was like two years ago I think maybe longer. You're gonna get made fun of for only being friends with girls" he said.
"I don't care! Katie's my best friend!" I said stomping my foot. Dad glared at me.
"Leave the poor boy alone Jack, it's okay to have only girl friends bud don't listen to him" Uncle Harry said.
I sighed laying back into the couch. I draped a blanket over Tyler who was invested in the movie even though we've seen it a million times.
After the movie ended he sat up. "That movie will never get old" he said. I changed the channel to the news just to check the weather for our flight home tomorrow.

My jaw dropped legit probably to the floor. I picked up my phone and immediately called my mom.
