Chapter 6

Five months later
(Sorry about the big time skip)

Tyler's POV

I was sitting on the couch alone today, Nate went to Kodi's parents so I was alone. I was watching TV when there was a knock on the door.

I got up and walked over. I opened the door to Daddy standing there. I stood there shocked for a second before wrapping him in a hug.

He came to Scotland when I was about six weeks along but I didn't expect him back so soon. After a minute I let him go and let him inside.

We walked over to the couch and sat down. "What are you doing back so soon?" I asked. "I got transferred from my company, I'm gonna be the COO at Daryan's company" he said. "really?!" I asked.

"Yes really bud, me and Jalynn and looking for a house here" he said. "We can go look at my laptop if you want, when do you start" I said. "I start at the company in two weeks, the company is paying for us to stay in a hotel until we find a place" he said standing up.

"Let's go look" I said standing up. We got halfway to the home office when I heard a splash. "Tyler what was that?" Daddy asked. I felt a pain in my stomach.

"I-i think m-my water b-broke" I said. I'm only twenty-two weeks I thought. "Are you for real" he asked rushing over to me. "y-yes" I stuttered out.

He got his phone out and called an ambulance. "The ambulance with be here soon bud" he said guiding me back to the couch slowly. I was terrified.

The ambulance arrived after a few minutes and they put me and a stretcher, Daddy followed me into the ambulance. The paramedic began asking me questions.

"How far along are you?" "Twenty two weeks" I inhaled sharply as a contraction hit again. "You're doctor, did she point out any issues with the pregnancy at your last appointment?" He asked. "No she said everything was perfect"

We arrived at the hospital and they took me through the Emergency room doors. We were taken to a labor and delivery room where Dr.Taylor rushed in.

"Tyler, are you okay?" She asked pulling her gloves. "I mean im in labor at twenty two weeks but other than that yeah I'm ok" I said jokingly.

Me and Daryan were very unprepared for this right now. She looked at a few things before taking her gloves off. "You are in active labor now, your water has broken, there is nothing we can do to stop the labor" She said.

"How many centimeters?" I asked. "Only three" I nodded and she left promising to come back soon. "Can you hand me my phone?" I asked Daddy he nodded and handed it to me from his pocket.

It was nowhere near Daryan's lunch time, but I needed him here. I called the office instead of his cell. A new receptionist I didn't know picked up.

"Hello, this is Curtis Industries how may I help you?" "I need to speak with Daryan Simpson immediately" I said. "I'm sorry he's in a meeting at the moment he cannot be on the phone" she replied harshly "I need to speak to him now" I said through gritted teeth as another contraction hit.

"I said he can't talk right now" she said "Is Maria there?" I asked she knew me. "yes?" She said. "Put me on the phone with her now" I said. I got transferred a second later.

"Hello?" Maria said. "Maria! Thank god I need Daryan" I said. "Tyler? He's in a meeting" she said. "I know I'm sorry I need him though I'm in the hospital, my water broke" I said I heard a gasp and her yell for Lydia.

A moment I heard Lydia's muffled voice. "Mr.Simpson is in a very important meeting, right now" I heard her say. "Well this is more important I need him here right now Lydia" Maria said.
