Chapter 22

Daryan's POV

I looked over at the clock on my desk.

5:42 pm

I sighed I still had a meeting to go to before I could go home but it wasn't for two hours. I decided to call Tyler and ask him to bring the kids in for dinner.

The phone rang a few times before Carter picked sit up.

"Yeah Papa?" He asked shushing Alena.

"Is your dad there?" I asked.

"He's giving Kai his vest treatment at the moment" he said.

"Can I talk to him?" I asked.

"One minute, hey Dad? Papa wants to talk to you" he said. I could hear Kai giggling he was very ticklish and the vest made him very giggly.

The phone shifted "yeah babe?" Tyler asked.

"I was thinking when you're done with Kai's treatments you bring the kids to the office for dinner. My next meeting isn't for two hours and I haven't had much time with you all lately" I said.

"Yeah sure give me like thirty minutes and we'll be there" he said. "Whoa Kai" he said as Kai started coughing violently.

"You go finish his treatments I'll notify Maria you're coming" I said.

"Okay love you" he said.

"Love you too" I replied and he cut the call.

Tyler's POV

I dropped my phone on the ground and held Kai's little tray over his mouth as he coughed up mucus.

"There you go we're almost done baby" I said rubbing the top of his head filled with dark brown curls.

"Hey Dad Kylie is coming to drop Alena of in a few something about having to go out to her dad's for the weekend for something with Sam" Carter said coming downstairs.

"Alright, can you go tell the girls to get ready we are gonna go have dinner with Papa at his office" I said. "And help Cora get ready? While I finish Kai's treatments"

"Yeah" he said heading back up the stairs. A few minutes later Kylie unlocked the door with her key we had decided to give her.

"Hey Tyler is Carter here?" She asked.

"Yeah he's upstairs helping Cora get dressed I can watch Alena" I said.

"Thanks I have to run" she said setting the baby carrier in front of me.

"No problem see you Monday after school?" I asked.

"Yeah" she said "bye"

"Bye Kylie" I said. She shut the door behind her and Sam's car drove off.

"Hi Alena? How you doing?" I asked unbuckling her from her car seat at six months she had mastered rolling over and sitting up on her own.

Being late February we had a few inches of snow outside as well.

"Hey Dad? Did Kylie come already?" Carter asked as he and all the girls came running downstairs.

"No your daughter just magically appeared in my arms" I said sarcastically. He rolled his eyes taking Alena from me.

"Alright Kai let get you ready to go see papa" I said unhooking the best and packing it away in it's box.

I straightened his shirt out that he was wearing and changed his diaper. Carter was playing with Alena who was babbling away at him.
