Daily dose of mental health

I hate math. He can go look for his ex on his own and fuck her senseless without bothering me. I am fucking done with him! We're done!

The next morning I served Hades and Ben breakfast, with my eyes and head down, already embarrassed for last night.

And partly shy because of the small touches he's made. And those kept me shivery and tingly till late, last night.

I took the rest off the toast from the toaster and poured two mugs of coffee before Emma came in to the kitchen smiling warmly.

I returned her smile as I placed two mugs of coffee in front of Hades and Ben.

I don't know if it was the fact that, I had stayed up most of the night or Miri's conversation with me is why made me feel less warm towards Emma. My eyes kept searching for errors in her.

And I guess I started to like her less. Weird how human brain works.

"Sit with us, for breakfast, Lucia." Emma said.

I shook my head placing a plate for her in front for her before existing the kitchen, fully aware of Hades's eyes boring into my soul.

After last night his gaze toward me was more sharp but unusual. There was a flicker of something else in his gaze and it made me shiver.

I bet he was staring at my ass. He seemed to touch it too last night.

I snort internally. I have no intention of him into my life, thank you very much.

As I entered my room, I took off the white apron and undid my hair from the bun letting it fall around my shoulders.

I was done till lunch time, but since anyone was hardly available for lunch in this house, lunch time was pretty free time, I got out my books and thought of making some extra reading to cover up for the large syllabus.

A knock broke my concentration as I walked over to open the white with polymer door. Emma stood with a plate of freshly toasted bread smeared with butter, an egg poached, some bacon stripes.

"Figured you'd want to eat?" She smiled and made her way in to the room. She placed the tray on my little desk and eyes the room carefully.

"Small room." She registered.

But I felt like she was being mean.

She's mean. Miri's voice drifted to my ears from last night.

"How are you these days, Lucia?" She asked. The friendly smile plastered on her face still.

"I am fine. How are you?" I asked out of courtesy and sat on my bed, opening my book to the page I had marked the days before.

I'm okay." She takes a seat beside me. Her eyes full of sympathy and sadness. "Lucia. Listen, here. I can talk to Ben you know? And he can talk to Hades about you staying here. You don't have to stay here, in…in this place. Listen." She placed her hands on top of mine. "I can 'elp ye out of this nasty place. I can help ye, Lucia. I am only a friend."
