After helping to clean the mess in the kitchen Miri and I were seated on the parlour.

Rosaline had given me something light to eat and Miri dragged me to the parlour to have a small talk, so that needed up me and Miri curled up on separate couches and talking about life recently.

"I don't know." She said. "But I think, I don't want the kids to be without a dad anymore."

"I can imagine." I replied. "It's the worst felling of not knowing the one who made you."

"Yeah." She sighed. "The questions were getting complex and the excuse was getting old, so I thought why not? And honestly... It felt sort of lonely these days."

I nodded.

I can relate.

Ben entered the room with an angry Mason hot on his heels, Mason was mumbling under his breath that made Miri frown.

"I'm taking the kids out to get something to drink." Ben said. "Do you want me to bring you back something?" He asked Miri.

She smiled and shook her head. Ben leaned down to put his hand on Miri's swollen stomach and kissed her head. "I'll see you soon." He said.

"Lucia." He nodded in acknowledgement.

"Ben." I nodded back.

"You're back."

"You've mended your ways. Making a couple of right decision, I see."

He grinned. "Well you see..."

"Ben. Out!" Rosaline's voice rang as she walked in, a couple of girls in pink aprons followed with buckets and boxes.

Ben looked perplexed from the elder women's snappy voice and pouted.

Mason looked quite interested at what was behind Rosaline and ran out to see what was there.

"Out, Ben!" She said again. "It's the ladies den."

"Whatever." He rolled his eyes and left.

The girls places the buckets and all the boxes on the ground and proved to unbox the items.

"What are these?" I asked.

"They are from the spa and nail salon." Rosaline said.

"Oh?" Miri grinned. "Does it mean we don't have to go out to get out nails and hair done?" She asked happily.

"No." Rosaline grinned talking a seat beside me on the couch I was curled up in. "The girls with the dresses will be here shortly, too." She said.

"Oh, fancy!" Miri giggled.

Fancy, no doubt.

And within fifteen minutes, me along with Miri, Rosaline, Ariana, Audrey and Bella were sitting with out toe nails soaking in warm water with our faces covers in soothing face mask that almost relaxed my whole body.
