As much as to my reluctance I ended up getting dressed in a nice two piece dress with a skirt falling a bit above my knees and and and white pumps with my hair curled by Becca and a nude shade of lipstick, ready to attend the charity party.

I called an uber to take me to the venue and at exact six thirty I was at the entrance of the grand hotel.

I sighed and paid the uber driver before getting down and entering through the entrance hall.

Two bulky guards were standing and guarding the open entrance and were looking at my invitation through their sunglass covered eyes.

"Are you sure this isn't a fake one, this time, Miss Rivera." I heard a familiar voice.

The guard handed me my card and Ben came out of those door smiling smugly.

"Its surprising how we keep meeting at the extravagant parties, no?" He said slyly.

"Yeah." I say. "Surprising really."

"You got a date?" He asks.

"Nah."

"Yeah." He shrugs. "Me neither."

Yeah? "What about Miri?"

"She didn't want to attend the party. She's really busy with the younger boy..."

"Congratulations." I say.

"Yeah." He grins. "Thanks."

"Come on." He says looping his arm through mine. "Be my fake date tonight."

I shrug as I walk inside with him.

The party was not extravagant, like Ben said.

It was simple really. With a nicely decorated podium and a dinner table pushed to the side.

Like Rosaline said, it was for a good cause and not many people attended apart from the big ones.

"Lucia!" I heard Rosaline squeal. "So nice to see you again, my sweet." She gave me a hug and a kiss on my cheek.

"It's nice to see you too." I smiles.

"Look at you." She grins. "Last time I saw you you were a girl and now all women?"

Yeah. I am surprised too.

And she talks like she saw mW ten years before.

Well it has been two, I'll give her that.

I grew a lot I these two years.

"Lucia." Zio  Vince walked and wrapped an arm around Rosaline. "Good evening."

"Good evening, Zio Vince."

I wasn't sure how to approach him.

I mean last time I knew he was fuming while looking at my fave as if he was going to throw me in a never ending fore pit for not disclosing his daughters secret date.
