"No, baby." He sighed. "My point is why? Why would you want a hospital floor?"
I shrugged.
"No." He said. "Things doesn't work like that." He sighed. "You don't need a hospital floor. A play ground...yeah that might be what you need since there are kids present but not a hospital."
But...
"Now here..." He pointed his pencil tip at the cheque balance. "This is what we have and if we calculate the expenditure of the hospital floor...it's going to be as double more as you can spend beside what about the fees?" He raised his eyebrow.
"What fee?" I pout.
"The doctors and the nurses..." He said. "Not everyone is going to volunteer and work for free. They're going to want to be paid...so you see...if we spend this much in hiring a couple more people...than you save this much and that much is your utilized money and..."
I rolled my eyes.
He was full gone into a business mode as we sat on the plush black carpet of his office floor, sipping wine and Aless pointed out my wrong decisions.
"You make me feel dumb." I pout.
He chuckles. "I won't say dumb. Inexperienced?"
I roll my eyes. "Is my lesson over or there is more to it?"
He smirked and shook his head. "Are you sleepy? Do you want to go to bed?" He asked.
I nodded.
"Okay." He said, corking the wine bottle. "Let's go."
I helped him put the glass on the sink and placed the bottle back on the fridge as he washed the glasses and set them on the cabinet.
"Did you think about getting a couple days off?" He asks.
"Uh-I did." I replied. "But...I don't think I can before we hire a couple of more people. Too much work there. The girls, the threpy, the kids..." I emphasized.
He nodded. "Do you want help, recruiting?"
I shake my head. "No." I replied. "I think I can handle."
He nodded.
I changed into a thin camisole and shorts before slipping into bed and felling asleep almost instatntly.
But the magical spell of my sleep broke.
Something didn't feel right.
I got up and reached for Aless. He was there. Beside me, sleeping. I snuggled up to his warm body and closed my eyes.
It still didn't feel right.
It might have been some weird dream I can't remember.
