It was Thursday night at ten when I was laying in bed of my small apartment I shared with Becca.
She was out. With her new found daddy.
As she said so. And got up all nicely dressed in a tight little dress and nice heels and painted her lips red, blew me a kiss and was out of that door before I could tell her to be careful.
I sighed and turned to my other side bored by the whiteness of the ceiling.
Though being in the estate gave me a nice warmth and homely feeling, I also wanted to keep my job and wanted to earn my own money.
And to top it off, I already felt bad for spending Aless's money.
I sigh. I had tried calling him earlier today, to know if we were ought to go to the apartment tomorrow.
He didn't pick up of course. I knew he wouldn't. And it's been two days he hasn't called or answered my calls. He was angry.
He was beyond angry.
I'll clear it up.
It was that night back in the estate, the girls were all in the parlour and were having their evening tea with pumpkin breads that Ariana made.
I had been successful in gathering the girls while the men were in the meeting room since six o'clock.
I was watching the time on the clock every other five minutes since Bella left through the back door during shift change, all dressed up nice.
"Lucy? What's wrong?" Rosaline asked.
"Nothing." I smiled.
She frowned.
"Are you okay?" She asked.
"Yeah." I nodded. "Perfect."
She nodded and went back to the conversation.
"Luce?" Miri asked making me turn my attention toward her. She was going through a couple of nursery design along with Ariana.
"What do you think about baby pink and light grey?" She asks showing me a sheet of paper that had the layout of the room.
"I like this one better." Ariana handed me another sheet of was yellow and light coral orange and white.
"The coral orange really brings life." I said. "I like the orange one."
" Okay." Miri sighed. "I still dunno if it's a boy or girl. I think the yellow and white is kinda neutral."
"I bet it's a boy." Mason pipes up from the floor where he was sitting and playing with Lego's.
"No!" Rose squeaks. "A girl! Tel him, mama. It's a girl!"
