It took a few minutes for the three to stop crying. They stayed cuddled with each other.

"So... What now?" Alya wonders.

"Now... We have some fun," Tikki grins.

Third Person's POV

The newly reunited family stood up and motioned for Adrien and Alya to follow them.

The two still-confused friends followed obediently to wherever the three were taking them. Plagg had wrapped his arm around Marinette, hugging her to his side. Tikki was hugging Mari around her waist.

Marinette could not be happier.

"We've arrived at the most important room in this facility!" Plagg announced, raising his arms up high.

"Woah..." Adrien and Alya breathed.

It was like seven arcades in one!

All of the games you could ever think to play were there! Pacman, Galaga, Frogger, Space Invaders, Mario!

"YOU HAVE DDR!" (Dance Dance Revolution) Alya screeched.

She bolted over to that, challenging Marinette. Mari giggled at her friends' enthusiasm as Alya tugged her over.

Adrien stood where he was and watched with a fond smile as his friends (*cough* andcrush *couch*) were having the time of their lives. He watched as Plagg joined in, challenging Mari with an overconfident smile.

"Are you going to play anything?"

Adrien jumped and turned as he heard a woman's voice. He breathed a sigh of relief when he noticed it was only Tikki, Mari's kwami.

(A/N: he doesn't know they're her parents uwu)

"No," Adrien said, turning back to watch the three, "I'm content to just watch."

Tikki smiled as she gazed upon the l'il cinnamon roll. She knew he was the right one for her daughter.

"You really do love her, don't you?"

Adrien glanced over at Tikki, then back at the three. His gaze landed on Marinette, and he smiled a love-sick-puppy smile.

"Yeah, I do."

Tikki giggled.

Adrien and Tikki watched on lovingly as they saw the three other occupants of the arcade on Cloud 9.

"I... have a question. If it's okay to ask."

Tikki turned to Adrien. She tilted her head in confusion.

"Of course. Ask away," Tikki allowed with a smile.

"Um, what made Marinette act so... scared?" Adrien asked nervously.

Tikki lost her smile to a frown. Her anger returned. Adrien flinched back in surprise at the sudden anger. He felt like he had asked the wrong question.

~~~
Marinette laughed as she saw Plagg pout when he found out he had lost. She smiled when Alya comforted the poor kitty.
Mari suddenly stopped what she was doing. She felt... increasing anger coming from somewhere. She turned to look behind her and gasped.
"What is it, Mari?" Plagg asked curiously.
"Tikki's angry..." Marinette whispered, her eyes wide as she gazed upon her furious mother.
Plagg's eyes widened and he gave himself whiplash turning around so fast. Tikki's only been angry a select few times. But it usually does not end well.
And Adrien is caught in the middle of it.
"Adrien."
The scared blonde looked over to where he heard the whisper. He saw Plagg gesturing him to walk over.
"Slowly get out of her range of sight," Plagg whisper-instructed.
Tikki's eyes were on the ground. She was starting to gain a reddish aura around her. Plagg's eyes widened.
Tikki was pissed!
Adrien slowly walked away from the humanized kwami, his footsteps as light as he could make them. He successfully made it over and hid behind his own kwami.
(*cough* futuredad *cough*)
Mari gazed at her mother with sorrow and fear. Her mom was really angry, but she did not know what to do. When the aura had appeared around Tikki, Mari knew she had to act soon.
But how?
"Dad, will it calm mom down if I sing?" Mari whispered as she turned to the black cat-human.
Plagg was uncertain. He was not sure if singing would help, but his instinct said it would not.
"I don't think so, honey."
Mari frowned and turned back to Tikki. She walked as slowly and carefully as she could towards the furious woman, ignoring all of the whispered warnings coming from behind her. She avoided Tikki's gaze, slowly walking behind her mother. She gently wrapped her arms around her mom and layed her head in between her shoulder blades.
"It's okay, mom," Marinette whispered, closing her eyes and squeezing the right arms tighter.
"I'm right here. I'll always be here."
Tikki's eyes gently closed and she released a sigh. The red aura faded away, as did her anger. She opened her eyes, turned around, and wrapped her own arms around her daughter.
"And I'll always protect you, my sweet daughter," Tikki whispered softly, gazing down lovingly at Mari.
Mari opened her eyes and looked up at Tikki with a smile. She looked over at Plagg and waved her arm for him to join the hug.
Plagg smiled and walked over. He wrapped his arms around his wife and kid, and the three hugged as a family.
They left Alya and Adrien standing off to the side awkwardly, but that is not important.
Mari let go of her parents and gave them a smile. She was glad to finally have someone who cared for her. To have someone who would not hurt her. She was happy to have parents who loved her. She was happy...
"I love you, mom. I love you, dad," Marinette sniffled, her eyes filling with happy tears.
Tikki and Plagg said in unison, "I love you, too."
The three then walked back over to Alya and Adrien. Everyone put aside what just happened and started competing in games, again. All five were happy. They were having fun—laughing, smiling, Plagg and Tikki stealing kisses.
It was a good day, despite what happened with Marinette.
All was well.
Or was it?
