Everyone's bodies were cold and nearly lifeless. Ledias sat there on the floor, shaking. She wasn't as badly affected by the black mist since she was holy, but for her friends, that was a different story. They all laid down where they were with tears streaming from their face.

They wanted to die after what the black mist engulfed them. Nothing matters... was the thought that went through all of their minds. Ledias unsteadily stood up and limped to where everyone was. The first person she approached was Midnight. He laid there by the tree with the box now closed in his arms. He wasn't breathing and his furry face was pale.

Ledias approached him and laid her hands on his body and sent holy magic flowing through him. It almost didn't work. The moment Ledias touched Midnight's body, she was also being slowly infected by this deadly chill. The coldness of Midnight's body made its way up her arms and slowly wrapped around her soul, but she gathered all her strength and poured every healing spell she had at her disposal.

Finally, Midnight's chest rose and fell as his lungs and heart began to work again. She gave a sigh of relief and fainted as the negative side effects of using too many spells kicked in and she fell to the ground.

Morning rose and the party is slowly getting up. They wiped their face and looked around. They were alive and well, but they would forever be haunted by the event. Ace got up first and rubbed his head. The first thing he did was to wake up the rest of the party. He went over to Orinus and Slayer first and shook them awake. They were unconscious with their eyes wide open. As Ace shook them awake, they finally regained their senses and looked around. They were still at the village. They were lightheaded and couldn't see colors at all. A small explosion shook the ground as the tower landed. The shockwave shook the earth and awoke the rest of the party.

The morning sun was setting and the sky, as their sight returned to normal, became a bright shade of pink, red, yellow, and blue. Orinus started a fire and they sat around it, hugging their knees. Ledias went around the fire and patched up her friends with the resources they had. "Thanks," Ace said as she placed a healing pad on his forehead. She smiled.

"Get some rest. You'll feel fine in a few hours," she advised and moved to her next patient. Zephyr exited his tower and sat by the party members.

"I'm surprised you won," he said.

"Same here," Phil replied. His hands shook as he held his cup of tea. His face was still pale.

"Did you find out anything about the box?" Zephyr asked. Phil was about to nod, but an eerie voice echoed in his mind. Shhhhh...

The party had a worried face once more. What or who was that voice they kept hearing? Just Incase, they obeyed the voice's command. Phil shook his head. "We didn't."

The villagers came back from where they ran and saw the destruction. "There's the dragonborn who claimed that he would eat our families!" One woman claimed. She pointed at slayer with hate and fear in her tone and eyes.

"Look! A giant! They've been communicating with the enemies all along!" another accused. Guards appeared and approached them wearily.

"Let's scrat!" Ace yelled. They got up and ran towards the tower with the guards on their tail.

"Get them!" the guards yelled as the party escaped into the tower. Zephyr placed Arcane Lock on the curtain and shut the guards out.

"Get us out of here!" Phil yelled.

"I'm working on it!" Zephyr yelled back as he flew to the second floor. The tower shook as it gained altitude, leaving the village behind with a huge misunderstanding. The party gave a sigh of relief as they steadily reached the clouds.
