Phil and Ledias's jaws dropped to the floor. "J-Justin?" Ledias asked, which Phil translated to Justin."Y-Yeah, it's me. I don't know how I'm alive right now, but whatever, I-I'm just glad that I am," Justin answered.
Ledias flew at Justin and wrapped herself around Justin's neck and squeezed tight. "I'm so glad you're alive!" Phil translated. "Please don't leave me ever again!"
"Y-you're choking me!" Justin yelled as she tried to pry Ledias off.
"Ah, sorry! I'm just so happy that you're alive!" Ledias exclaimed.
Phil looked at the back of the line. "Wait... does that mean..."
Most of the monsters turned around and faced the people in the back. Ledias looked at them too.
The buff ogre raised his hand sheepishly. "I'm Riley. Yes, I'm alive somehow."
The red dragon sneezed and lifted its head up triumphantly. "I can never die," Slayer said proudly.
The frost giant crouched down and smiled. "You have no idea how cramped it was in that paper," Ace said.
The displacer beast purred as it came forward. "Sorvex," he simply answered.
Ledias's eyes instantly locked into the humanoid intellect devourer in the back. "Grog?" she asked as she slithered towards the beast. The intellect devourer nodded and picked up Ledias from the floor and hugged her. If snakes could cry, there would've been a huge stream flowing from her eyes. "You're alive! You're alive!" she cried with joy as she wrapped herself around Grog.
After several minutes of weeping and hugging, they finally decided to name themselves. The undead beholder was Midnight, the zombie was Orinus, and Cyprus was the six arm snake lady. On the side, the silver dragon was Theodore, the demon gorilla was actually George and not some strange twist, Beth was the banshee, Cherry was the dryad, and Malcavorich/Bob was the mind flayer. Phil also set a plan of communication. Phil and Justin would be the main people to translate since Phil could read minds and Justin was fluent in nearly every language.
Once they finished naming themselves and greeting each other, they turned their attention to the skeleton who stood there awkwardly. "Okay then, who the hell are you?" Phil asked.
The skeleton started clicking its bones together in a pattern of quick taps and long taps.
"What is it doing?" George questioned.
"Move aside!" Bob yelled and moved forward. "Oh my god, is that morse code?!" Her tentacles were wriggling excitedly.
"Do you understand what she's saying?" Cherry asked.
Bob looked back at Cherry with the creepiest and most genuine smile a mind flayer could give. "Nope! I have no idea," she said with two thumbs up.
"Move!" Justin ordered as she pushed Bob to the side. "G-go again."
The skeleton started clicking again, trying to send a message. Justin nodded her head as he kept repeating the same code.
"Do you understand anything?" Ledias asked.
"I t-think it's saying 'underwear stupid,'" Justin answered.
"No it's saying dwarven emperor!" Phil angrily interfered and pushed her to the side. "It's saying that it's the dwarven emperor!"
"W-whoops." The sayar blushed and looked away. "M-my bad."
