Timber raised his hand up and summoned his own sword made of gold. "You could've came at me in the flesh, yet you chose this little girl as your host? You're such a parasite," Timber scolded as he charged forward.Solul drew her sword and sliced the air in front of her. A blast of energy shoved Timber back, making him drop his blade.
"I chose this small girl because she is worthy. Her will power and might are astonishing, the love she has for her friends is unbreakable, and she's the friend of the god of time," Solul answered. The ground shattered around her as she dashed behind Timber.
Her foot crashed into Timber's bottom, kicking him to the other side of the field at incredible speeds. The air around him formed a tornado made of plasma as he flew. He crashed into the dirt and rolled around until he came to a stop.
A good chunk of his back was completely gone, turned into ashes, but it was already regenerating. "Ouch, that really burns," Timber whined as he tried to stand up, but Solul dashed over with an explosion of lava behind her. She raised her foot and slammed it down on his back.
A huge tornado of hot plasma surrounded them from the kick. It blasted everyone away from them and evaporated every single thing around and inside the tornado aside from Solul and Timber. Once the tornado died down, a hot steaming pile of red goo laid on the floor with Solul stepping on it.
The goop regained its form back into a naked Timber. He was breathing hard. "Do you know how painful that was? I've never been burnt that harshly before in my entire life!"
"Stop complaining you big baby," Solul scolded as she swung her sword at him.
Timber's skin turned red and scaly as he turned to face the incoming blade. He then formed his own sword made out of his red scales and parried the attack. The two blades clashed with another explosion that shook the hill. The ground shattered and molten rock splashed everywhere. The spectating adventurers ran to cover as the lava fell where they just were.
"What the hell is going on?! Is this how strong Solul really was?!" Slayer screeched as he covered his head with his frozen hands.
"Looks like it," Sancho answered as he ducked by a boulder. "Let's let them duke it out and see the results. We can't help her anymore. This is the fight between two gods."
The two of them clashed their blades together, each hit shaking the earth and turning the air unbearably hot. Timber raised his sword above his head and slammed down on Solul's parrying blade.
"I've been saving up this power to fight against Midnight if he didn't agree to my terms," Timber started to explain as he kicked Solul back, "but I guess I'll just use it all on you. Thousands of years of energy used on you. You should feel honored-"
"Oh would you shut up?!" Solul complained as she sliced the air with her sword. Another wave of energy sliced into Timber, but his skin was so durable that it did nothing but slightly dent it.
Timber countered back by pointing his blade at her and firing a thin blast of light, piercing her shoulder.
"Gah!" Solul grunted as she fell backwards, but she quickly jumped up and regained her posture. She was running out of energy. "This isn't good," she muttered to herself. "If we keep this up, we'll soon lose in a battle of wits, durability, and dexterity. You're gonna have to use your full potential."
"Wouldn't that kill me?" Ledias asked Solul who was infused with her soul and body.
"You'll be fine, you got me. You'll only feel really tired after the attack."
