Chapter Twenty-Six.

Payton's smile spread across his face, oh how I missed nights with him. "This is going to be good." I said as I put on Anthony's t-shirt that I packed in my bag to sleep in. "Hey, why you getting ready for bed now, we're going out." Payton said as he threw one of Chase's jackets at me. "Fine, I want snacks anyway." I smiled slipping my arms down the sleeves. "Good, now let's go." He said standing at the door holding out his hand. I took it in mine and we ran down the corridor hand in hand to the elevator. I cherished my time with Pay the most. I could be myself with him, I could wear no make-up, I could act how I wanted, I could talk to him about everything and he would always understand and care. "Where are we going?" I asked once we stood in the elevator on the way down to the lobby. "Exploring." he smirked. His smile was enough to melt my heart, he so sweet and cheeky its my favourite. "Where Pay?" I frowned and he rolled his eyes. I have to admit he is gorgeous but like I said to Ant all of the boys are. "Look, we don't spend a lot of time together and I want to remember something special okay?" He said standing in front of me with his hands placed against my cheeks. I couldn't help but stare into his eyes there's just something about Payton that I just can't shake. I know that he is me best friend and I wouldn't want it any other way, but since spending time apart from him it's made me realise how much he really does mean to me. "Sure, I want memories to keep me alive when this is all over, I don't want tour to end." I said as we got to the ground floor. "I have a car waiting let's go." He smiled as he pulled me along outside to the Uber that waited to take us more into the city.  

8PM made the city dark but the lights of Times Square made it brighter and this was all I was looking forward to for the whole trip and I'm glad I gat to spend it with my best friend. "Its beautiful." I said as we walked down the busy sidewalks looking for a place to grab some quick food. "Could say the same about you." He smiled and we both laughed. Pay always called me pretty and complimented my outfit's and that's what friends are for. I really do appreciate all he does. "Shut up." I said nudging his side and I couldn't help but smile. "Come on this looks good." He said pulling me along to a food truck. "Oo this looks good." I said rubbing my hands together in excitement. "I already know what you're getting so I'm gonna pay." Payton said pulling a twenty out of his backpack. "Can I get two Mac and cheese pots and a large fry, and some waters please." He said ordering the food, I love how he knows me exactly. "I can't wait. I'm so hungry." I laughed as we waited for the food to be ready. Once we had the food we explored some more and took photos since Payton had his big camera. "You look so good." He smiled from behind the flash. "Pay," I scoffed. "how can I look good filling my face with past." I shook my head and adjusted my glasses on my face. "Just the camera I don't know." He shyed away. "Hey, come one." he said grabbing my hand as we continued to walk down the street. We went in to a few stores and got snacks for our movie night later back at he hotel. I looked down at my phone to see a text from Ant and also the time 9:46pm 

Anthony<3: Are you back yet, just want to make sure your okay xx 

I knew he would be mad if he knew I was out this late but I also didn't know how to tell him, so I didn't. 

Dais<3: just chilling with a movie, see you in the morning x 

"Anthony?" Payton asked as we walked. "Huh?" I said looking up after shoving my phone back into his bag. "What does he want?" Payton continued, "Oh right, he was checking in. I told him were watching a movie. I think he would be mad if I was out this late." I said as we walked some more taking in the lights and the vibe of New York City. "So you lied." He huffed. "I get it, you have to but I just don't think it's right you feel like that Dais." He weakly smiled to reassure me and I smiled back to. "I just need him to know he can trust me and since he doesn't why should I give him a reason to you know, it's hard Pay I just want it to all be okay." I said getting upset. "No, I'm not letting him ruin this." He said tightly hugging me and resting his head in my hair. "Come on, let's go to the movies instead of watching one on my Mac when were back, then plus we don't get Chase and Jackson complaining about us being loud." He smiled as he pulled away. "Well we have to watch Toy Story 4 then." I giggled as he shook his head. "Oh come on you secretly want to watch it." I smirked to bring out his. "Yeah, fine. I do I can't hide it either." his dimples became more prominent and glowing on his face. "Your such an idiot." "My idiot." 

Finally, it was a long night. We got back to the hotel and it was nearly 2AM. Jackson was sleeping but Chase was still awake. "Yo." He said quietly as we came in flopping on Paytons bed. "Is that my jacket?" He asked and I looked down at my body and back up nodding in agreement. "Sorry." I sarcastically laughed and he shook his head hiding his smile. "I'm gonna shower." Payton said as he grabbed a towel from the closet. "You coming?" he asked and I looked at him confused. "Not in the shower, just the bathroom." He laughed as he could see me blank ass face. "Oh." I walked with him into the bathroom and took a seat on the counter top. The shower in this hotel had a half black frosted door so I could see Payton waist up. He pressed his lips up against the glass and scrunched his nose. I smiled and yawned as the night got later and I got more sleepy. "Aww is somebody tired." He wined running his fingers through his hair letting the water soak through. Either I was really tired or I needed new glassed because watching Payton shower almost seemed to be in slow motion. Timed slowed down and I couldn't help but zone out and just sit and watch him peacefully. "Dais?" He said loudly. "What?" I said snapping out of it. "I just asked you something." I smirked being a dork. "So?" "What you doing after tour?" He asked once  again since I wasn't listening the first time. "Oh, I'm staying with Ant for a week since Jaden is going to Griff's." I lent back on the mirror propping my feet on the edge of the counter. "Just don't let him break your heart okay?" He said looking me straight in the eye through the steamy glass. "Roger that Captain." I joked. Anthony could never, He loves me and I know it. I trust him with everything and he's what I've wanted for a while and I would never do anything to ruin that. I know he would say the same about me, after all I did ruin everything for him. Its always going to be him.
