Chapter 32: The Journey

Claire's POV

I'm holding the map that leads to Diamonda. I couldn't find the forest.

Is it that way or this way? The Birthstone forest is the only way to Diamonda from Royal School.

"Uh. Claire, I thought we'll go through a forest?" Emily said.

"Yes we will. I just can't figure out where's the way." I said.

"You have the map, right?" Ashley said.

"Yes, I do." I said.

"Let me take a look." Emily said.

"Oh, wait I finally get it. Follow me." I said.

We turned to the left, then we saw a river clear as a diamond. Then we need to follow it. The source of it's water is on Diamonda.

"The water is so clear." Emily said.

We continued walking. Ashley and I was quiet. Emily was the only one making noises.

"Bang, bang, into the room." She sang. I don't even know what kind of song is that. It's like from humans.

"Uh, princesses, what is happening to the water?" Emily asked.

I looked at the water, it's turning red.

"Don't mind it. It's Luciana." I said.

Soon, the red-something disappeared.

"Where's the water?" Ashley asked.

"It is right over th-" I looked at the river which was not there. Everything was dry land. The river was gone.

"Did we missed the turn?" I said.

"No, the river was exactly there 10 seconds ago." Emily said.

"But, how did the water dissappeared?" I said.

"Simple, she's following us." Emily said.

I suddenly got goosebumps. I never realized that. I took my map.

"Are we lost?" Ashley asked.

Suddenly, the wind blew hard. The map slipped through my hand and flew away.

"Oh my!" I shouted and my horse followed the map.

I reached the map then I caught it.

"Princesses! I found it!" I shouted. I looked around me. I was surrouned by trees. Ashley and Emily are out of my sight.

"Ashley!!! Emily!!!" I shouted but no one responded.

I looked at the map. It was blank, just a blank peice of paper.

It's official, I'm lost.

Emily's POV

"Come on Ashley. Let's follow her." I said. Claire just run away to catch the map.

"Where is she?" I asked.

I turned around. I realized I was surrounded by trees.

"Ashley?"

"Claire?"

"Oh, great. I'm lost." I sighed.

I saw the bushes move.

"Stay back!" I exclaimed.

Then a cute kitten came out.

"It's a kitten." I mumbled.

I took the bag Mr. Harris gave us. I realized it's kinda heavy.

"Geez, what's in this thing?" I talked to myself.

I opened the bag, I saw a sword, a knife, a bow and arrows.

How did these things fit inside here?

I took the kife and I tied it in my belt. Never really mentioned that I'm wearing a belt, right?

I don't know how to handle this kind of things.

I rode my horse. We walked around the forest. I feel like someone is following.

"She's not my daughter!!!" I heared someone shout. I realized that it's the voice of my father.

What does he mean? I'm not his daugther? That's impossible! I'm his daugther.

"Trixie....I need you...." I whispered at the air.

I heared something move again. I looked at my left side.

The bush was moving. I prepared my knife. A snake came out.

"I'm scared of snakes a lot." I mumbled. My horse tried to run away. But when it turned to the other side a bunch of snakes was present.

"Oh my gosh." I mumbled.

I used my powers to freeze the snakes. But it isn't working!! Oh  my! It's my end!

My horse runned to another direction where I thought there won't be snakes anymore. I was wrong.

"Why is this happening to me?!" I screamed.

"Simple. It's because you're my grandaugther." I heared someone.

"My grandparents are gone! Both mother side and father side!" I screamed.

"Are you sure?"

I got goosebumps when I heared that. Does that mean one of my grandparents are still alive?

My horse kept running away 'till it stopped.

"Oh my God!!!" I exclaimed. We're at the end of the cliff. I can see a river shining bright like a diamond. It leads to a- wait is that a castle?

The castle was shining bright. I have the feeling, is that Diamonda? I thought it was abandond.

Snakes are still following me.

Okay, I learned a lot being Princess and as a princess I also learned how to be brave.

With all I can do, I closed my eyes. I counted.

"3."

"2."

"1."

"It won't be the end."
