Chapter 43: The Book

Kate's POV

I called Mrs. Ronaldo.

"Ahm Auntie, are you done yet?" I asked.

"Yes, I'm gone. Infact, I'm here at the entrance."

Auntie arrived here.

"Can I go to your house, now? I forgot that I'm suppose to get Emily's notebook for a school project." I said.

"Okay, just go back here okay? Give me back this keys." She gave me the keys.

I accepted the keys and rushed to their house.

I opened the door.

I went upstairs. I found the white door and I'm sure it's Emily's room.

I opened the door.

The window was open and there was a sparkly red butterfly there.

"Who are you?!" The butterfly said.

"Where on earth can a butterfly talk?" I said.

"Of course I can talk! I'm a fairy!" She turned into a fairy.

Her hair was red and her wings are red also. All her clothes are red.

"Who are you?" She said.

"I'm Kate, Emily's friend! And who are you?"

"I'm Trixie! Emily's Ruby Guardian Fairy!" She said.

"Since your her guardian." I said with a V sign. "Help me find a book titled 'My Diary'. She needs it." I said.

"Fine, just make sure Emily ordered that!" She said.

I started looking at her drawers. Not in there.

Closet? No.

Under the Bed? No.

AFTER 30 MINUTES.

"Found anything yet?" I asked.

"No." Trixie said.

"Where can that book be?" I whined.

I have an idea!

"Uhm Trixie, can I call someone who can help us?" I asked.

"Yes, do whatever it takes just to find the book."

I called Angeline.

"Hey, come here at Emily's house. Alone! Help me do something." I said.

"Okay. I'm coming." She answered and hanged up.

"What am I gonna do?" Angeline entered the house.

"Help us find a misterious book title 'My Diary'. Some pages are ripped and filled with blood marks. Don't react. Jsut help us find it." I explained while walking on the stairs.

I oppened the door.

They were about to say something but I cut them.

"Trixie, this is Angeline. Emily's fairy guardian. Trixie this is Angeline, friend of Emily. Don't talk. Just find the book." I said straight.

"Okay, sure!" Angeline said cheerfully and started looking.

Narrator's POV

In the city, the humans are already working for Luciana.

Luciana is more powerful than ever.

She's got all the power. Even to read minds, control somebody, and poison people with one wave of a hand.

"Move faster! I want my palace don't immediently!" She screamed.

The humans suffered even just for hours. Imagine a construction site. Even rushing than the ones you see.

"Uhm. Miss. What kind of palace?" A man asked Luciana.

"A palace where I can live and rule. Make it your size." She said.

Then she srink. Her size has her original one.

"Every birthstone needs to be there." She said.

"What happens if we won't build you a palace?" The man asked.

"You will suffer."

"I see. I have a construction team here. We can build you a palace but you have to pay."

"You want the Queen to pay?! Excuse me! Build me a palace or die? You are working for the Queen and you're life!" Luciana attacked the man.

"Yes, your majesty. We will build you a palace. Big enough for you to live wih royalty."

See? They are suffering!

"Where the hell is that book?! How did Emily talk to you?! She's in a freakin' comma!" Angeline whined.

"Telepathy." Kate answered.

"What?!"

"It's true. She's a half birthstone. She has powers." Trixie explained.

"Wait, your a fairy. Do you have that power?" Angeline asked.

"Uh of course I have!" Trixie answered.

"What are you waiting for?! Talk to Emily!" Angeline said.

"Great Idea!" Kate cheered.

After a few seconds...

"No. I can't reach to Emily. Something's blocking me." Trixie said.

"Oh man! But how about Kate? You talked to Emily, right?" Angeline said.

"We are wasting time. We've been looking for hours. We looked at every place here but the isn't here. It can be everywhere!" Trixie said.

"No. There is still one place that we didn't looked at." Kate said.

"We looked everywhere!" Angeline said.

Angeline and Trixie noticed that Kate is looking at the trash can.

"Oh come on! There's no way that the book would be in there!" Angeline and Trixie said.

"But what if it's in there?" Kate said.

"What if it isn't?" Angeline said.

"Girls! Stop it. The only way to find out is look inside the trash can." Trixie stopped them.

"I'll open it!" Kate said.

Kate opened the trash can and it reavealed a misterious book titled "My Diary".

"I knew it!" Kate cheered and took the book.

"Wait, why there smoke all around the city?" Angeline said while looking outside the window.

"What?!" Kate and Angeline said.

"We better hurry up." Kate said.

Together, they rushed to the city.

"Why is everything in fire?" Angeline asked.

"I don't know. We better go to the middle of the city." Kate answered.
