Then we proceeded with caution to the vines, after Mason swung across first, and he just barely made it. Tyson swung across making it to the other side safely. Lace, Jace, and Kace went after us they got on the other side with us. The girls Maddy, and Hope had to swing across last to the side we are on. They did, but only they swung on the same rope at the same time for the rope broke, and the girls screamed, Thankfully they jumped after the rope broke and we grabbed their hands and pulled them up to safety.
"That was too close." Maddy said shaking, as Mason pulled her completely away from the scary cliff's edge.
"Yeah now let's find our way out of here." Tyson remarked, while making sure hope was safely up as well. Hope being her shrugged Tyson away and strutted onward.
So we continued through the cave until finding two paths leading in two different directions. Although Signs showing Exiting Out this way, and Caves Mazes a clear way out perhaps, yet could have definitely been tampered with for both looked a little lopsided. That certainly aroused suspicion, Mason saw it almost immediately.
"This just great. Which way are we going to go now?" Hope questioned, as she stopped by the plastered signs. We looked at the signs that were on the ledge just above the tunnel entrances.
"I think we should go through the left tunnel." Mason said, as he examined the grounds.
"Now why do you think that?" Tyson replied. "They look almost identical and leading the same direction also." He continued, while taking a gland down.
"Look how the signs were when we found them. They were both facing upward. I suspect someone beat us here not too long ago." I answered back.
"He's right there is little possibility that they would fall on the same side. I bet TheGranger's were here beforehand and switched the signs to fool us." Lace said.
"Hey behind these rocks there's a crowbar." Hope stated." Maybe it's one of theirs?"
"Nope for that looks just like mine. I did lose it earlier somewhere in the caves." Jace replied, while reaching for it and putting it in his pack.
"I thought TheGrangerGang took it." Lace answered, while coming up to the front.
"What if the other gang took the signs down to lead us the wrong way?" Maddy asked, intervening into the conversation.
"Maddy must be right." Kace said. "They definitely don't want us trailing them if they already have the silver.
"Okay but which tunnel are we going through?" Tyson asked. "We need to get the heck out of here!!"
"Totally correct, let's do the one on the left." Mason said. "It seems like the best option, for there's more light at the end of the tunnel."
They all argued because everyone (except Mason) wanted to go through the right tunnel. Instead of arguing with them, Mason took matters into his own hands (again) ran to the tunnel entrance and progressed on. Then they all ran after me, suddenly the next thing Mason knew, he was outside of the cave and it was just before dark. He was spying on the other gang when just then everyone Mason was with in the cave show up behind him.
"Hey...Great job of getting out but why did you leave us behind?" Lace questioned.
"SHHH... TheGranger's are right there." I commanded. "Unfortunately I believe they've got a collect of valuables in those bags.
"Hey what's that in their bags?" Maddy said, spotting a glowing item from afar.
I got my binoculars and looked what they had. It was all the silver from the caves. They (TheGranger's) must have gotta to it when they distracted them.
"Great they are rich and we are broke, and in a whole lot of trouble. Probably by now." Hope said.
I looked around and saw a lot of low tree branches. I got some rope, tape , and plastic bags, from my backpack while tying the rope to one of the branches, Taped a bag to the rope. Three times, and pulled back on each of the ropes.
"Mason what are you doing?" Maddy asked.
"Getting our silver back!" I replied firmly.
"Tyson grab this rope and go five feet to the left. Jace get that rope and go ten feet right." I told them.
"Wait what's going on!!!? It's hopeless like I've mentioned before." Hope stated, while lokking quite distressed.
"You'll see. Just grab those strong two bags for now. Be on the ready for my command." Mason replied, as he finished getting a few knots tied.
"What are me and Lace doing? We totally want to help retrieve this silver back." Kace asked, with a confused look upon his face.
"At the moment I need fill these bags with rocks and get ready to run. This is a crucial part so stay focused." Mason said, while finishing his contraption.
"Mason I still don't know what happening!" Hope said, being as confused as ever.
"Look if these bags are filled with rocks we could switch them, while getting away very discreetly." Mason answered, as he got ready to proceed. Than we proceeded with the plan which was to create a distraction on the complete other side in order to drive them away from their stash. That way we can swoop in and swap the bags of rocks, for bags of silver and become 10x richer. First the distraction was needed so Jason, and Kane synced their watches and went to opposite sides of the opponents. Jason created a rustlings of leaves, and Kane imitated voices of officials.
"Did you hear something Gus? I could have swore someone's watching us this very moment." Gavin asked, while hearing some leaves being crunched. "Why don't I, Bucky, and George go and have a look around?" He finished, while leading the trio out into the woods away from the stash. Three down to to go, as Kane started doing voice impressions.
"This is the FBI let me see those hands." Kane yelled, which got TheGranger gang's full attention causing all 5 of them to leave their stash. Mason, Layton, Hope, Tyson, and Maddy swooped in quickly switched all three bags and left the scene all smoothly. Then Layton did hawk call which alerted Kane, and Jason to join back, which they quickly did. Once the whole WildBunch assembled they fled the scene immediately heading back towards town.
