Once, I got to the principal's office, it looked like an argument already started however Mason decided to cautiously walk in. Seeing that they conversation continued on even with he walking into the room, Mason grabbed a chair and listened in. Although it wasn't long before the two gentleman's awareness kick in and noticed him.

Principal Don; "Ah Mason, you're just in time we were just talking about you. Why don't you stay seated and we'll chat with you about this bizarre residue.." He finished his sentence, although Mason was moving fast towards the door.

"Actually, you know I'd love to stay yet I must a be getting home so yeah bye!" I replied, yet he was stopped dead in his tracks by a broad Coach.

Coach Brad; "Not so fast. What's the rush? It's not like you're going to practice for soccer anytime soon. Do you want to explain that missed event?!"

"I can explain that." I nervously said, as he took a deep breath and said, "Look, me and Tyson usually go to school together. Today, we didn't because Tyson reported to me he discovered that odd residue. Key word here "Discovered" meaning no of us started it." This answer seemed legit yet they still had some doubts.

Principal Don; "Alright I believe you Mason, but if none of us caused this damage then who's responsible!!! I'm still looking for the answers. I am truly sorry that we'd rush to such dramatic conclusions." However then TheGrangers walked into the principal's office which caused quite the commotion.

"We'll give you the details on who caused all the ruckus." Gus firmly said, as he shoved Mason and walked towards the desk.

"You don't even know, and if you do then Say Somethin yet this is a different occurrence so Gus keep your nose out of it." Mason commented, while the other boys barged inside the room.

"It's because they are mad that they got in trouble for going into those caves." Gavin answered.

"Also, we took the silver that was in the caves from them and then they stole it from us." George said.

"How do you know that?! First off we discovered the silver beforehand, and second this whole discussion has been about something completely different." I replied, as he finished presenting his case.

Principal Don; "Enough! I have decided a day suspension for Mason and Tyson. For the whatever your called "Grangers" Bucky you go to Owensville so I have no authority over your schooling, yet this will be on a report. Now for the rest of you (Gavin, Gus, and George) I'll let you off on a warning due to no one has reported you against any wrongdoing." He finish assessing the case.

"We didn't do anything that bad, for we've been ideal students." Tyson responded, trying to state a complaint.

Principal Don; "How about that fight during a supposedly friendly basketball game or suspicion of theft, or even in cahoots with whoever behind this inky residue!!"

"Besides all those things you mentioned, we've been spectacular role model students." Tyson pointed out.

"How, do you know everything?! Wait, don't tell me it's those two." I pointed at Hope and Maddy.

"Hey, he falsely accused us!" Hope said.

"Well, we did tell the whole school what we did after all of us came from the caves." Maddy replied.

"No!!?! Maddy!?! Ugh! Okay, we're sorry." Hope answered.

Principal Don; "I don't like rumors going around at my school. Maddy, you said yourself that anybody could be an accomplice. I'm suspending you and Hope for a day as well."

"I actually said, that Mason could of been an accomplice not anyone especially not me!?!" Maddy said.

Principal Don; "I've made up my mind now go before I change my mind!?!" Luckily he didn't have to because everyone shifted towards the door and marched out.

"Okay okay, we're leaving." Tyson said.

"Yeah, let's get out of here." I answered, right after we left the principal's office I went straight home. Once I got back to the house I saw Uncle Mitch saying.

"Hiya Uncle." Mason said with a great, big smile on his face.

Uncle Mitch; "Well hello Mason, I didn't expect you home this early. You wouldn't have gotten into any kind of trouble today at school? Have you?"

"Just a little. Here's the note I got from the principal." I replied.

Uncle Mitch; "Another note. I've told you to be on your best behavior everyday."

"It's just a one day suspension and a test result." I said nervously, although he knew it was a little more than just that.

Uncle Mitch; "WHAT!?! 33% on your science test. Ridiculous! You're grounded for the whole weekend.

"No, what about the soccer game coming up?" Will I still be able to participate in it, for I play an important role on the team." Mason replied, with a nervous tone.

Uncle Mitch; "When needed and only then I shall take you there. From now on it's school and then straight back here understood. Goodness gracious your mom who's my sister not going to be too thrilled about these awful grades and reports." He said in a very stern tone.

"Fine." I said rudely, although inside my mind I wasn't going to waste my day just a sitting at home. I went outside to practice being a goaltender, however, I wasn't that good as I thought. My uncle took about fifteen penalty shots on me and I only saved five which was quite disappointing.

Uncle Mitch; "Mason, look you did very well last time you practiced. You are not concentrating. Watch my foot how it curves then quickly track the ball and react. It's as simple as that." I tried to do it as my uncle explained and it worked! The next five shots I saved four of them!

Uncle Mitch; "Well done. It's getting dark lets go inside and get a good nights rest."

"Please not yet. One more shot please?" I begged.

Uncle Mitch; "Oh okay." He took the shot perfectly into the left hand top corner, however I predicted it and was able to get there a split second before the ball did and I made the save.

Uncle Mitch; "Awesome save! That's the way to end the day!"

Later that same evening the house phone rang and Uncle Mitch scrambled to answer it. Mason listened in and realize it was dad calling from the supposed "business trip". Then Mason snuck down the steps to listen into the conversation out of sight obviously.

"Yes this is Mitch here the kids are a sleeping Mark. What is it you need from me?"  Uncle Mitch stated. There was a slight pause before another word was spoken.

"You want me to confirm they aren't awake? I can assure you they went to bed early I sent them there me-self. Whoa whoa slow down Mark, for what's all the fuss about this Langhammer fellow trying to make a laboratory??? Uncle Mitch kept in the conversation which I kept a-hearing.

"Yes, wait a second your a-telling me this junk-head uses a mixture of untested chemical for medicine and tries to make a profit from it. If I have seen or heard anything suspicious in the last two weeks, unfortunately can't say I have. See you Monday Mark I'll be on the lookout while keeping the household safe. Night." Uncle Mitch concluded the phone call, yet I already heard enough from just the last line. Suspicious, strange a floating residue the thing that I got blamed for which I intend to find this Langhammer guy and clear my name. Mason thought, as he rushed up quietly and jumped in bed.
