Milly's p.o.v

I marched into the saloon annoyed with my black pumps in hand, I clocked in for my "unscheduled" shift and quickly got to work.

"You look so much like your mother Milany" Johnny gushed, tonight I wore a sparkly thigh high red dress that complemented my full figure well. My hair was bone straight and parted down the middle, makeup was natural with a heavy red coat. And lastly black pumps that made my legs appear even longer then they already were.

"Thanks it's been a while since I've heard that Johnny" my mother passed away a few years ago and life hasn't been the same, she was my best friend. So every now and again when people tell me I resemble her it makes me feel like I'm doing a good job.

"Anytime" he said walking away, I continued to wipe down the counters and fill glasses until Brian and his friends walked in.
"Shit" I say suddenly feeling very exposed, maybe he wouldn't noticed me?

Earlier in the day I woke up just minutes after he left not feeling as comfortable anymore. The hangover was terrible and I was just now coming back to life. So when Johnny called and said that we would be open tonight I kind of died a little inside.

"One jack n coke" a middle aged man says blocking my view of Brian and his pals.
"Coming right up" I say sarcastically, I turned around to fix his drinks feeling his eyes on my body.
"Here keep the change doll face" he put a bill in my hand and I shivered realizing it was a 100 dollar tip.

I hated that so many men thought they could bribe me with money for some sort of "happy ending."
I filled a glass with water and put the money in it serving him a cold refund.
"Hey asshole" he turned around only to be met with a watery fate.
"You bitch!" He screamed walking away drenched, I smirked in victory "bye bye" I said in my softest voice.

"Can I get six shots of tequila minus the shower?" It was Matthew Brian's friend, I put my head down in embarrassment.
"You weren't supposed to see that" I sighed "he was asking for it we all saw the way he was looking at you."

"Guys like that are a dime a dozen" Val said appearing next to her husband "yeah and how would know" he rolled his eyes pulling her close.
"I mean look at me" she exclaimed pointing to her face "hopefully they don't look to hard I might have to kill someone."

You know the couple that's all smiles all the time, and just wants to make the other one happy... yeah it was them.

"You look great can we take a picture?" Val gushed, I was so wrapped up in my thoughts I didn't even notice Matt was holding her phone.
"Sure"
I came from around the bar and she gasped loudly "damn girl look at that booty" I palmed my face.
"Your embarrassing her Valary" Matthew scolded her like a father, we took a few pictures and they all came out amazing.
"Beautiful ladies" Matt said snapping one last picture of us.

Val and I talked for a while longer and Matt brought drinks over to his friends "so what do you think of Brian?" She said wiggling her eyebrows "he's really cool we're friends" I simply stated.

She rolled her eyes "Honey don't play coy with me I invented it." I laughed at how honest she was "okay fine he's amazing and smells like fucking Hershey kisses."

"There it is " she laughed clapping her hands together "to bad he doesn't even notice me" I sighed. She pressed her lips into a straight line and looked back over her shoulder "I think you've got the wrong idea" she whispered.

"Hey" he spoke softly "you look amazing" I blushed deeply and tried to hide my face. "No way don't hide, I want to see the smile I put on your face."

"Thanks Brian you look great too... you kind of stole my look" I was referring to his red leather it was the same shade of red as my dress "great minds think alike, want to come have a drink with me and my friends?" He offered shyly "I would but who's going to watch the bar"

That's when Johnny came from around the corner "have some fun and make some friends Milly I've got this."

You bastard.
