Imagine Blayze singing this to Astrid but only in his head... because he has a terrible voice.

hey' dont judge me, I'm the writer here, i plan this out.

The bullet went to the exact position I had aimed it.

One shot and Laura fell on her knees. Her reaction to it was quick as if she knew what was about to happen next. She took out a gun that was tucked in the back of her trousers.

I couldn't let her do that.

One more aim.

One more pull of the trigger.

This time it went through her hand that was holding her gun.

Her scream was loud and it echoed throughout the whole room I was in.

I immediately pulled back and was panting really hard.

She kept screaming but a hid behind a wall so I couldn't see what was happening beneath.

I pressed my eyes shut.

Too many gun shots... too many yelps and screams.

"I'll always protect you, Astrid. We're a soul sent in two bodies. I can't lose half of my soul. I'm here for you--and you'll live."

"I wish you were here to protect me right now... but you're not."

I opened my eyes. "That means I'll have to help myself."

I got on my feet and rushed down to the ground floor. opening the door slowly, I saw a man standing in front of it, not knowing that I was behind him.

Turning my sniper around, I kept a strong hold of it as I approached him quietly. Raising the sniper above, I surged all my energy and power into my arms and biceps and I hit the man with its handle, making him collapse on the ground.

According to the directions I was given, I ran as fast as I could, making sure no one was following me. Seeing Jackson, who was slumped on the car, I heaved a sigh of relief.

He tilted his head to look at me and gave me his signature smile as he opened the door for me.

"M' lady... wait, no, sorry. My brother's Lady."

"We don't have time for this, Jackson. Get in!"

He rolled his eyes and did what I said. "And then women complain that chivalry is dead."

We waited for any sign of what happened after I left.

And let me tell you, it was a complete doze of anxiety for me.

I was tapping my foot, pacing around, biting my nails, very other thing you do when you're restless.

Even Jackson's jokes couldn't get me out of my daze and it felt horrific! I was trying but the 'what if's' in my mind wouldn't leave me alone.

"Okay, you really need to stop with all this," Jackson said. "Let's talk about something else. Let's see...... how about if I asked you to compare about your married life to your parents' married life?"

"Really? That's the best you could come up with?"

"No, I could ask other stuff too but I'm curious. Tell me about them."

"Well, I don't remember much but... they loved each other a lot. But they used to fight just like Blayze and I do. It was crazy! One time, they were even fighting on who fights more, I mean, can you believe it!?"
