"Shut up! You're lying!"

"No, you asshole. I'll tell him what you've been doing! You're the mole!"

Isn't this a wonderful way to wake up? With people banging at your bedroom door at six in the morning when you were not only awake till. . . late, but you were also on your periods.

Grabbing the broom that someone left in my room while they were cleaning it, I made my way out. Raising it up I yelled, "What is wrong with all of you!? Screaming at the top of your lung early in the morning. Can't a woman get some sleep here!?"

I looked over at a group of men who stood in wild attacking stances, staring at me as if a lion had seen a deer.

Well, thank the lord I fell asleep without changing into my pajamas.

"You're one of them aren't you!?" one of the men yelled. "I knew it, ever since you came—"

"Dude, I don't even know what you all are yelling about."

"I'll help explaining it," someone whispered in my ear as they grabbed my forearm and dragged me down the corridor.

"What's going on, Aaron?" I asked him when we got to a place where no prying eyes were watching us.

"What's going on?" he replied, not stopping from dragging me to wherever he was going. "Shit came loose when people found out that Jared got killed yesterday. He was the most well-liked person among us, known for his gut feelings always being correct and all that shit. When they all heard that Tim killed him without even telling why, they've been suspecting each other more than ever, thinking that whoever made Tim kill Jared must be someone who has influence over him."

Ha, influence my ass. I just used my words to manipulate him.

He closed the door behind us, my eyes landing on the rest of the gang.

"Do we have a plan?" Alex asked, twitching his leg as he spoke.

I sat down on the floor. "Apparently, this is the right time we strike. They're all broken and conflicted. How many can kill us when they're too busy killing each other."

"What are you saying, Astrid?" Rex asked, putting a hand on my shoulder.

"She means kill Tim." Austin cleared it out for me. "If we start spreading a little more spiced rumors, they'll be inclined into believing us, especially since they're inclined to believing anything at the moment. This way they'll be fighting for us without realizing."

"You're right, man, but tell me are we going to get the aids? We don't have anything to fight with, I doubt Tim is stupid enough to leave all of his unguarded." Dustin argued.

"Well, about that. . ." Alex said, standing up. "I did a little cat burglary myself...just in case."

He opened his closet that had nothing but guns.

My mouth was left ajar when I saw all of it. I swear I wanted to kiss this kid but Dustin did that before me. "I just hope you never tried to steal my under wears this way."

We all laughed a little until Rex got up and grabbed a gun, loading it.

"Well, we've got some havoc to cause."

*

Blood.

It was everywhere. On my jeans and shirt, on the floor, on the walls.

There were bodies everywhere as Alex and I jumped over each dead or injured man.

We had made teams: the twins being a pair, Aaron and Rex since Alex didn't want to be with anyone other than me.

Who knew that the twins were that good at spiking up people's anger, using the person's own hatred towards someone against him?

"Astrid," I heard Alex which made me turn around to see him. He was panting heavily, shivering from head to toe. Looking at the chaos that surrounded us, I shot at one person who was making his way towards us on his arm and leg, opening the door to the nearest room and pulling Alex in.

"What's wrong, Alex?" I asked him, locking the door behind us.

"I—I can't, Astrid. I can't do it anymore." He whimpered.

"Why? What's wrong?"

"I-I killed him," he whispered, making my blood freeze. "I killed him, Astrid. He-he was on me and—and then I tripped. I didn't mean to b-but it just—just happened and—and . . ."

He burst into tears, clutching my shirt as he hugged me. "I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. I can't, not anymore. I want to forget it but I can't, Astrid. What should I do, I want to forget it?"

"I'm sorry Alex but you can't do anything about it. You should never forget the person you kill because they'll never forget who killed them."

Sudden pounding got us out of the trance. Someone was banging the back of their gun on the door knob. I looked around, grabbing the closet, I made help me and threw it in front of the door. It was heavy enough to stop the people on the other side. . .for some time.

"The AC vent. Get into it and hurry!"

And he did, climbing up as I followed him, closing the lid behind me with the screw driver. My actions were hast and made the palms of my hands sweaty enough for me to almost drop the screw driver.
Almost.

"Come on. We need to keep moving." I said.

"We need to take a left turn ahead and then a right after leaving to turns," Alex instructed, holding the paper with the vent layout in his hand as he led me.

We reached the place.

"You remember the plan?" I asked the boy who nodded quietly.

I forced him to look up into my eyes by putting my finger under his chin. "Hey, don't worry. This is the end. After this, we'll get out and it'll be the end of it all. I promised you a happy life remember, and I'm going to keep my promise this time."

I replied y with a sniff and a nod.

I turned to the vent and unscrewed the lid. Hoping down, I watched Alex jump as well.

Then I turned to the man in front of me.

"Tim."
