Dahil sabi mo nakakasawa na ang mga kwentong babae ang naghahabol sa lalaki, gumawa ako ng story na opposite naman.  So, gusto kong e-dedicate hindi lang ang chappie na ito kundi ang buong kwentong ito kay @lychandesu, ang unang-una sa tatlong followers ko. LOLZ!!!

Alam ko later on, marami ding silent readers ang makakabasa nito so, sana subaybayan nyo itong story kong ito.  Gagawin kong simple at maiksi lang.  Sana 30 chapters lang para tapos agad.

CHAPTER 2

Hectic ang atmosphere sa opisina niya.  It is always like this.  People rushing to meetings.  Associates typing away on their desktops like crazy to beat a pleading’s deadline.  Staff rushing to attend to the needs of the bosses.  It has always been a chaotic scene but Lyn thrived in it.

It is stressful.  Yes.  But she had her own ways to destress.

While others ate, others take some booze after work, others go to the spa, Lyn goes clubbing every Friday.  And like a cheetah stalking a prey, she zeroes in on a man and has sex with him. 

One night only.  No strings attached.  And she had never had sex with a man twice. 

Surprisingly, hindi naman siya nauubusan ng lalaki.  She had been at it since she became a lawyer. 

Ayaw na niya ng commitment.  Too complicated.  And yes, too stressful. 

She likes control, and the peace of having an organized and relatively uncomplicated life.  It is complicated already as it is and she felt that she doesn’t want to add to the complication by adding a boyfriend into the fray.

Not that nobody tried.  They did.  Someone always does.  Hindi siya nawawalan ng mga suitors.  But she had always turned them down.

There was even a sheikh and a sultan but she just couldn’t commit.

Like today, naabutan na naman niyang nag-aayos ng flower arrangement si Sheila sa altar sa office niya.

“Galing na naman kanino She?” tanong ni Lyn nang naabutan ang secretary sa office niya.

“Kay Dr. Romero po.”

“Dr. Romero?”

“Yung anak po ng kliyente mo.”

“Ah si Kyle?” 

“Opo.  Actually po tumawag siya kanina, nagtatanong ng schedule mo today.  Sabi ko po puno po ang sked mo.”

“Puno ba?”

“Opo eh.  Actually, may 10:00 ka nga kay RAM kaya lang sabi ko male-late ka.”

“Hindi pa naman 10, I’ll make it on time.”

“Sabi mo kasi kanina Ma’am dadaan ka sa doctor bago ka pumunta dito.”

Tumawag nga pala ako kanina sa kanya na male-late ako.  But, I decided to skip the doctor today.  I still need time to process the situation.  Hindi pa ako handa na matanggap ang sitwasyon ko and going to the doctor will force me to accept it.

“Well, 9:45 na.  Ihanda mo na mga dadalhin ko sa meeting at ipatawag mo na si Jo para i-brief ako.”  Si Jo ang aking associate. 

By 9:55 naglalakad na kami ni Jo papunta ng conference room na nasa taas na floor lang ng opisina namin. 10:05 na nang pumasok kami ni Jo sa conference room.
