"I think my magic has some technical difficulties", Loki explained, still sitting on the ground. "That'd also explain the voices I heard..."
"Voices?", Stark asked surprised. "What kind of voices?"
"Well... It sounded like... Thor." Loki didn't dare to look his brother in the eyes. "I first thought I'd go insane..."
Stark sighed and now touched Loki. He wanted to tell him that he should've talked to them, as he noticed something for the first time. The man's clothes looked pretty baggy on him and his shoulder also felt bony. Yesterday this hadn't been the case.Loki felt weak, like his muscles didn't wanted to do their job. As he tried to stand up his legs were shaky and he felt like trying to walk for the first time.
As he took a step he completely lost his balance and Stark had to hold him.
"Hey", the mortal said, "Maybe you should sit down or something? You don't look that good."
"What's wrong, lil brother?" Thor had walked closer and Loki shrugged his shoulders, trying not to fall again.Stark was now speaking. "No, don't shrug. Looks like you hadn't eaten for decades. So what's happening?"
"Go away", was his answer. He tried to sound mean, but his eyes were showing how afraid he actually felt. Stark understood that. If he had powers he couldn't control he'd be scared, too."Mr. Loki? Are you alright?" The God looked up and a thin smile appeared on his face. "Peter! Are you feeling better?"
The boy entered the room, walked up to Loki and hugged him. "Thank you so much for helping me!"
"Wait... What? But I stole your memory! How can you remember?"
Stark was grabbing the arm of Peter and pulled him away from the Asgardian. "You messed with his mind?" The man shouted angrily.
The black haired god backed away, still insecure on his legs. "I... I...", was everything that left his mouth.
"Mr. Stark, Mr. Loki healed me! Without him I'd be dead."
Stark glared at Loki, who was staring at Peter. "Is that true?""Uh... Well...", he didn't knew what to say. He was just doing what he was supposed to do, he had helped a friend -
Friend? No. Peter wasn't his friend, he couldn't be. A monster like him couldn't have friends."Well?", Stark asked lifting an eyebrow.
"I wouldn't say it like that... I just... tried to help..."
"With success! I can't remember everything, but you placed something in my chest. It hurted a lot but now I'm alright. Just because of you!"Loki tried to smile, but you could tell he wasn't feeling good with his actions exposed.
"I am confused", Thor started, "How did you do that? I mean, you weren't even there..."
"Well... I... Um...", Loki stuttered. His view was getting blurry... The god wished he could just sleep... Forever. He felt so weak, even breathing was difficult.Thor noticed his brother didn't feel that good, so he walked up to him to hug him as a strange green light started to surround the younger one. Panic appeared on Loki's face as he slowly disappeared. "Brother!", Thor cried as he finally completely vanished.
