The next morning was hell.
After the... incident on the stairs he immediately walked back into his room, locked the door behind him and sat down under the window.
He was getting nuts.

There was no other explanation for this. Stark was right, he was ill.

But after a while, as he thought he would finally fall asleep, there was this voice again, this time right next to him.
"I knew."
Loki flinched and let out a weak scream. Immediately he was awake again and curled up and rocked back and forth, searching his mind for any spell that could be useful.

At the breakfast table the heroes were talking, everyone seemed like he had a good night full of peaceful sleep. Peter was still sleeping, and Loki stared at his plate again. He couldn't eat. If he would he might throw up, because he felt that bad. Thousand thoughts flew through his mind, and he was that absent he didn't realize Fury spoke to him.

"Thor, could you hit him or something? He seems like he's daydreaming."
Thor, who sat next to his brother, carefully touched his shoulder. Instantly he seemed to "wake up" and looked at his brother with confusion written on his face.

"Mr. Fury was talking to you, Loki", the thunderer explained.
"Oh, um, I'm sorry Sir. I just didn't sleep that well..." The god started fidgeting with his sleeve and avoided looking at Fury.
"Well, I was just going to tell you that Agent Romanoff and Barton are coming earlier than we thought... To be exact, they'll soon be here.

Loki froze in his movement and his hands started shaking again. He looked up with a blank expression and just as Stark looked up into his eyes he jumped up and left the room.
"This guy's full of surprises", Fury mumbled. But Stark wasn't happy about what he had seen.

Lokis eyes were green.

"Sir, we have to get him back!", Stark said while standing up, "He is in his manic phase again..."
Fury instantly knew what he meant. "No... Not today", the leader whispered and louder he ordered: "Well, then get him! I don't want him to cause any damage."

He couldn't stay here. These stupid mortals would come today and he wouldn't have the nerve to defeat himself. While he walked to the entrance hall his sight got blurry and coldness let him shiver.
Then the voice came back. "I knew what Odin did to you... But I didn't do anything to help you..."
The furious Loki covered his ears with his hands, shouting: "Leave! Just leave!" and continued running to the exit.

The helicopter had landed and Agent Romanoff got out of it, straight away walking to the entrance hall of the main building. Clint followed her, talking into his phone.
Nat wasn't in a good mood that morning, so the man tried not to provoke her.

Now Loki entered the entrance hall. Soon he'd be out and could build up a new army, stronger this time...
He was a few steps away from the door as it was opened from the other side.
Romanoff entered the room, and as soon as she saw the villain her face froze.

"Oh hello Nat", Loki grinned while taking a step backwards.
The woman pulled out a gun and said: "Don't dare to move."
The mischievous god laughed, and with one snap of his fingers her gun vanished.
"Please, I don't have the time for playing. Even though I enjoy games with yo-"

He was interrupted by an arrow shoving into his shoulder. The God hissed in pain but ripped it out of his flesh again. Grinning he stared at Clint. "So you think you could defeat me, a GOD, with a simple..." Suddenly everything around him went black and he fell to the ground.
