Like ok, I know this sucks because I have something to tell you. My father will be confiscating my phone if I drop out of top 10-20. I'm really happy if I drop out of the tops, it reliefs me that I don't really have to care about my grades that much and their expectations will lower.

But since I was threatened that they would take my phone. I don't know what to do, but what I know is that I can't give you anymore updates. So that's that.

Scarlett's POV

I took a deep breath and entered, I erased all my previous emotions and replaced it with the one benefiting for a child. I can already see mother sitting and two other figures.

From what I can tell, slowly approaching. One was a woman and the other a boy....boy? A BOY?!

Bruh like what? I swear I can feel my face start twitching, bOi don't smirk at me like that mother! You knew this was coming!

I walked to mother more like skipped putting up my façade. I can feel the stare of smugness radiating from my dear mother, who betrayed me. And the stare of indifference and curiosity.

"Scarlett dear, why don't you sit down?" Mother waved her wrist and a maid pulled up a chair. She motioned her hands as if saying 'yeah you chose this not me now sit' and so I sat. I didn't have much option anyway, well if you count running away, then perhaps I may have an option.

"Your highness is this your daughter?" A woman with hair as dark as ink and eyes as sharp as steel, inquired. Her voice is thick with the universal language. Might I say she is quite a cold beauty.

"Yes, Scarlett this is-" mother paused, waiting for momentum. "Skadi Freen Rutledge of the lovely kingdom of Ongdel as the wife of Alvar Xia Rutledge the great honorable general. Who is, for now, at your father's office." She took a breather. Gotta hand it to mother, that was quite a mouthful.

"And her son,-" this is where I can feel her smile in what I can tell from my displeased expression. Yes that's it she's smiling at my state, that gotta be it.

"Undine Sol Rutledge." A boy around Silvenet's age, sat beside lady Skadi. Like his mother he had the same black hair, but instead of the piercing turquoise eyes of lady Skadi he had pale Frost eyes that looks like it could be steel at any moment.

"Hello," I bowed to them out of polite courtesy, years of learning the universal language finally bearing a fruit. (A/N: you did very little in learning you liar!)

"Hail princess Scarlett of Arctivana! May you ascend to high ends and live for eternity. May the glory be with you always" Both stood up and did a complete bow, like bending your knees and all that thing.

Since it was my official debut in meeting the nobles. They did the proper way of greeting a royalty.

"Aa," I did a court reply. Still not used to the fact that, that's how they greet royalty.

Right after then did they sit down. Did the official party began. I stole a glance at Undine, and found that he was playing with the cookies and looking uninterested at the conversation my mother and lady Skadi was having.

And like every cliché story out there I can't help but say that he is quite a looker. I think all the boys my age that I have met so far is quite a looker. He had this charisma around him that screams 'I am too handsome and cool for your own good' and that charisma could let him still look good even if he picks his nose disgracefully.
