〈 Amanda 〉
"Thanks for the help Rose. The work would be a lot easier now. Of course to you too Amanda" Aunt smiled at us.
"You're welcome aunt. I'm also glad Corbyn would have the same school!" I replied.
"I know. Ashley is currently at a friend's house and will go here as well tomorrow. She'll also have the same school." she informed.
"Is she a graduating or?" I asked.
"No not yet" Corbyn shook his head.
"I can't wait to see her tomorrow!" I clapped.
"I bet she doesn't even know you're right across the street!" Saskia joked and we laughed.
"That's fun! We'd see you tomorrow, yeah?" mom cut us off.
"Uh okay! Bye!" she and Corbyn waved at us.
"Bye Amanda" he waved.
"Bye Corbyn" I waved back and mom pulled me back to the house. Here we go again.
"Amanda do you have any projects at school? Homeworks?" she asked.
"Um none. Yeah I don't have any" I shook my head.
"Good. Also I bought cupcakes from the cupcake store near here and I think it's great if you'd bring them to Corbyn's as a welcome gift." she smiled.
"Oh. Okay, that's cool." I shrugged then nodded. She handed me the box filled cupcakes and I ran towards their house, crossing the empty street.
"Aunt Saskia?" I knocked twice.
"Oh, Amanda" Corbyn opened the door.
"Hey. Mom just wanted to give these to you guys. She said take them as a welcome gift" I said.
"Wow, thanks." he got the box from me. "Hey mom! We have cupcakes from Amanda" he yelled.
"Tell her thank you! I'm kind of busy right now" she yelled back from somewhere.
"Okay" Corbyn chuckled.
"I gotta go. I'd see you tomorrow Corbs" I pushed his shoulder slightly.
"Can't you stay a little longer?" he asked.I sighed.
"Yeah as much as I want too my mom is waiting for me so" I frowned, shrugging.
"If only Aunt Rose wasn't strict" he sighed, then giggles.
"I know. My life would be much breatheable" I replied. He nodded.
"Do you want some?" he asked, showing me chocolates laying on their tables.
"Mom always get chocolates for no reason at all." he added.
"Oh. Can I though?" I asked, hiding my excitement.
"Of course you can." he replied and gave me two Toblerones.
"Thanks. We both have gifts then?" I giggled.
"Just take that as a thank you gift. We recieved our welcome gift" he slightly smirked.
"Okay then. I'll see you tomorrow" I smiled and he waved.I started to walk away with a smile then I heard their door close.
〈 Corbyn 〉
"She never changed didn't she?" mom chuckled, walking towards the empty living room to get more boxes.
I helped her to pick one up and she smiled.
"Yeah" I nodded, giggling.
"Still the same old Amanda" she added.
"How long was it mom? Sixteen years ago?" I asked.
"Wait how old are you? Twenty. You were four then. She was just three years old then." she replied.I forgot how our age gap was kind of big.
She's nineteen, i'm twenty one.
But she catches up in the height though.
"Really? Dang, that's a long time ago" I said, amused.
"Who knew we would see her again? What a small world it is" she said.
"I know. It's a great reunion" I nodded, smiling.〉♡〈
