〈 Amanda 〉
Ashley, Corbyn and I arrived at home from school and let me tell you how stressful this day was.
I got a question wrong which was really awkward, I was picked as a leader for this dang project, someone thought I was dating Sydnie because on how I talk to her.
And of course.
With my two eyes, I saw Christina and Corbyn talking again.
She looked so in love with Corbyn.
Ugh.
They don't look good together and she literally—
Where's this sudden jealousy coming from?!
I don't even like Corbyn.
He's more like a brother to me.
Except that I think he's so—
"Hey Amanda! Lowen your speaker please." I heard dad knocked on the door.
I obeyed and put it on forty-five percent before getting up from my bed and opening the door for him.
"I'm gonna leave tomorrow after you arrive from school." he blurted out with a nervous smile.
My smile dropped.
"Already?" I frowned.
"Yeah, sorry honey. You know how's ship life, going all around the world and serving people." he sighed.
I fold my lips into a thin line.
"I mean I can't do anything about it" I shrugged sadly.
"But we can do something while there's still time. You know, hang out for a while" he smirked.
I nodded, "That sounds good, dad."
-
"You sure you don't like these honey?" dad asked, pointing to a bunch of stuffed animals.
I frowned.
"Dad." I whined and he bursted out of laughter.
"Alright fine, I know you love Taylor so why not buy merch?" he smiled.
Excited, I ran to the elevator and I heard him call out for me to wait for him.
We then arrived at a local merch store of Taylor.
The last time he brought me here was three years ago, and Taylor didn't had much merchandise around here.
"So, choose." he said.
I enternally screamed my lungs off and he chuckled at this.
My eyes wandered around clothing with her album names on it, as well as posters and notebooks.
As I was about to grab some posters, dad cut me off.
"Honey, you have many of those things. Try these." he smiled, handing me her new album.
"No way!" I gasped, getting the Lover album from his hands.
"A- Are you sure dad? This is like privilege a- and—"
He chuckled.
"Yeah sure honey, you can buy anything. Dad's wallet got you!" he cheered slightly, making me laugh a little.
"Thanks dad." I nodded once.
"Sure."
I then hugged the album and got this hoodie that says "No explanation, just Reputation."
"That'll look good on you" he reassured.
"You think?" I asked and he nodded.
I put the hoddie on my left arm and got another t-shirt.
After getting four t-shirts, her new album, and another poster for Lover, Dad and I went to pay for the cashier.
"Thanks again dad" I chuckled while getting the paper bag.
"Always welcome." he replied.
-
"Can't believe we didn't do this sooner" I sighed as Dad and I got out of the taxi.
"I'm sorry honey, it's because I wanted to explore this place I should've not done that" he chuckled lightly.
"No no, it's okay. I still enjoyed this day with you anyway" I shrugged.
He nodded with a smile.
Dad knocked on the door and Mom soon opened it.
"Good thing you're both here! I made dinner" mom exclaimed and rushed at the kitchen.
Dad and I chuckled.
Man, why can't we always be like this?
