〈 Amanda 〉

"Hey A" Ashley said, leaning towards the table I was sitting at.
"Hey Ash, want some brownies?" I offered.
"Uh, yeah," she shrugged and took one. "So have you seen Corbyn anywhere? He was lost when I went on the dance floor."
"No, I haven't seen him" I replied.
"Now where did that alien went" she sighed.

I chuckled and took a bite from my brownie.

"Hey guys" Corbyn suddenly popped up out of nowhere.
"Where the heck were you?" Ashley asked.
"I told you I was going out for a while but you were too busy dancing" Corbyn replied.

We giggled and Ashley playfully rolled her eyes.

"Brownie?" I offered.
"Yeah sure" he said and took one from the plate.
"How's the talk?" I asked.
He chewed, "Talk? What talk?" he asked.
"With Christina, duh" I replied.

He chuckled.

"Oh, eh, nothing much" he replied flatly.
"You have a wide vocabulary Mister Besson" I glared at him.
"Fine fine, I guess it was cool, you know she looked really cute being an e-girl" he replied.

I slowly nodded.

"E-girl? Aren't those like a different version of emo girls?" I asked.
"By her, she said it was an "aesthetic" version of an emo girl." he said, making quotation marks.
"See, I learn so much from you than I did on school! School never taught what the heck e-girls are" I chuckled.

Ashley laughed.

"There are no such things like e-girls in our school, that's why" she added.

Corbyn and I nodded.

"Okay, enough of being e-girls!" Corbyn cut us off.
"Who's getting the money, baby?" he tuned.

Ashley rolled her eyes.

"I saw like thirteen angels here, Corbyn" Ashley replied.

I laughed.

"I did too!" I added.
"I haven't seen an alien though" Ashley said.
"Oh really?" I asked.
"Yeah, that's pretty unusual but okay then" she replied.
"I'm smelling the money!" Corbyn tuned.

Ashley and I playfully rolled our eyes.

"Don't even, Corbyn. I mean look at Amanda's! She did her by herself, unlike you" she retort.
"Don't get too defensive Ash" I chuckled and pat her back.

She mouthed, "I'm just saying."

There was a sudden shout at the right side of the room, causing most of the heads turn.

"Seven minutes in Heaven!"

Corbyn and I bursted out laughing.

"I am not even gonna go anywhere near that place. Ever" I stated.
"Me neither, this is a Halloween Party not a, you know, party" he added to which I chuckled at.
"What do you do there?" Ashley asked.
"Nothing!" Corbyn and I exclaimed.
"No, not in the seven minutes in heaven thingy. On the truth of dare!" she said.

I slowly looked to my left to see a few students, playing spin the bottle with a twist of truth or dare.

"Oh, basically you just do truth or dare whenever the bottle spins on you" Corbyn replied and Ashley slowly nodded.
"Ooh, fun! Should we?" she grinned.
"I think not Ash" I suggested.
"Yeah that can be really wild" Corbyn agreed.
"You guys are party poopers, boring!" she said.

We laughed.

"You can enjoy Ash" Corbyn tells her.
"I can?!" she exclaimed and Corbyn nodded.
"I love youu!" Ashley yelled and pulled Corbyn into a quick hug before running towards the circle of students.

I chuckled at the scene.

"That was cute" I smiled.
"Come on, you find everything about Ashley and I cute" he smirked.
"Guess you're right" I shrugged before getting another brownie.
"How many brownies have you ate, A?" he chuckled.

I laughed.

"I don't even know." I huffed. "Hey, Pepsi?" I asked, handing him one.
"Nah, i'm feeling full. I just wanna chill until Sydnie announces the winners" he replied.
"That's a mood" I dryly laughed.

"I dare you to kiss.. that blonde over there!"

Corbyn and I quickly looked to the noise.

"That's it?" A familiar voice asked.
"Yeah!" the same boy replied.

Everyone cheered as Christina stood up and walked towards Corbyn, her lips folded into a thin line.

I looked at everything confusedly.

Everything was happening in front of my face and I didn't know how to react or what to expect next.

"This is just a dare Besson." she whispered in his ear.

Before I could blink, Christina pulls away from the kiss she and Corbyn had.

The group of people started to yell loudly and congratulated Christina.

I swallowed the lump in my throat.

"So uh, i- i'll leave." I said flatly to Corbyn before I saw Ashley running towards us.

They were about to say something but I already left.
