"School isn't surprisingly annoying today, wow" Amanda chuckled as she and Ashley entered the car.

I giggled.

"Good." I nodded.
"I'm hungry, let's go home" Ashley blurted out.

I laughed.

"Alright" I said.

The ride was quiet, which was unusual, since the two would always talk non-stop.

They're so hiding something.

"Oh I saw Christina with her new boyfriend a while ago" Amanda broke the deafening silence.
"Yeah, I saw him too. Shawn" I added.
"He's hot, should've seen him sooner" she said.

I glared at her, which caused her and Ashley to laugh too loud.

"Oh and Christina gave me a new pair of shoes" I added.
"Nice!" Ashley said.

-

We reached home and they quickly left the car.

I knit my eyebrows, confused.

"I'll be back!" Amanda yelled.

I shrugged and nodded.

As I lock the car door, I heard footsteps from the backyard.

A surprise, wow.

I started to walk slowly towards the door and twist the doorknob open.

Not to my expectations, a sudden party popper was popped to my both sides and everyone yelling a "Happy Birthday!" .

I smiled immediately and gasped a little.

Most people from the Halloween party were present in our house.

22 by Taylor Swift started to play.

Amanda obviously played that.

And there was a lot of food.

How did they do this?!

Words are taken back, I am surprised.

"Aye, thank you guys!" I said, barely audible.
"You're twenty-one!" Christina yelled.
"Christina! Hey" I chuckled and hugged her.

Shawn pops up out of nowhere with a drink on hand.

"Shawn! Thank you guys for coming, this was really unexpected" I chuckled.
"No worries! But we aren't the ones you should've been thanking" Shawn yelled over the loud music.

I tilt my head, confused.

"The girl you like!" Christina exclaimed.

With no words, I rushed to find Amanda.

Everyone I walked passed by greeted me a happy birthday which I thanked them for.

"Ashley! Hey, thank you!" I said.
"Of course. I had a colleague to help me" she replied. "Here's your present" she added.

I kissed her forehead and thanked her once again to look for Amanda.

Soon, I found her tying her shoes up in the counter.

Typical Amanda Aldis.

"A" I called out.
"Huh?" she asked and finished tying her shoe.

She wore a rainbow long sleeve, and covered everything in a pants-style jumper.

As soon as she looked up, I locked my lips with hers.

At first, she was confused on what to do, but seconds later she was kissing me back.
