"The house is finally fixed. Thanks a lot, Amanda!" mom said.

Amanda chuckled.

"No worries aunt. Have nothing to do today anyways so it's okay" she said.
"I'm excited to see you around school on Monday, Amanda! It felt like forever since i've seen you!" Ashley said.
"I am too. Okay, i'll head home. Call me for anything!" Amanda waved and stepped outside
"See you Amanda" I said, cupping my mouth.

She glanced at me and smiled before looking at her left and right, then crossed the street.

I can still see how happy she is from afar from how she walk towards their door.

"Okay bro, since Jordan is not here 'cause he's out in the gym again you'd be helping me buy school supplies, you know?" Ashley said with a hopeful smile.

I sighed.

"Why does it have to be me?" I asked.
"First of all, you're my brother. Second of all, I can't bring them all home by myself" she chuckled.
"Are you gonna shop today?" I asked again.
"Yep" she clapped once.
"I'll think about it" I replied and she frowned.
"I— wait I have an idea!" she said.

After saying those words she was already at Amanda's house.

"Where's she's going?" mom asked as she turned on the radio.
"Amanda's. Probably gonna ask if she wants to come and shop with her" I chuckled.
"Why don't you?" mom said.
"Mom she'll take like ten hours there" I replied, causing mom to laugh.
"You're over exaggerating things. She won't. Besides, Amanda's probably tired from all the work she've helped us" mom said.

I nodded.

"Okay, i'll shop with her" I sighed.
"Thanks Corby Worby" she smirked, causing me to laugh.

I crossed the street and went to Amanda's place.

"Really?! You're coming with me— oh Corbyn, whatcha doing here?" Ashley cut herself off when she saw me.
"Fine, i'll come with you to shop" I said.
"Amanda is already— oh sure. Thank you! Gues three of us will shop" Ashley said.

She then left, leaving Amanda and I.

"Where's Aunt Rose?" I asked.
"Doing laundry at the kitchen, why?" she replied.
"I'll just ask her permission" I said.

Her face turned slight red and nodded.

I chuckled and went to their kitchen, finding Aunt Rose.

"Aunt Rose, hello" I smiled.
"Corbyn! What are you doing here? Excuse the mess" she chuckled.
"No worries. I um, was just asking if Amanda could come with Ashley and I to go shop for my supplies, if that's okay?" I asked.

She looked at her laundry and thought.

"Hm, I guess she can. Just be home by nine alright?" she replied.
I smiled, "Yes of course. Thank aunt." I said.
"Okay have fun" she added and I nodded while walking towards Amanda.

She smiles uneasily.

"What'd she say?" she asked.
"Yes." I replied.

Her eyes widen.

"Really?!" she whisper-gasped.
"Yeah" I nodded, chuckling.
"I- I'll go change. I'll be back" she said, rushing to her bedroom upstairs.
"Hey i'll be on our house" I said, cupping my mouth.

She yelled back with an 'okay' so I went back to our house.

I then changed my clothes as I already showered and put on my shoes.

I did my hair and sat back on my bed, using my phone whilst I wait for Ashley.

Half an hour has passed and Ashley finally finished.

"Corbyn, let's go!"

I sighed and put my phone on my pocket then went downstairs.

"Is Amanda ready?" she asked.
"I don't know, I was in my room waiting for you the whole time" I replied.
"Oh, whoops." she chuckled. "I'll pick her up then start mom's car." she said, handing me the keys.
"Okay" I replied.

She crossed the street and I got in the car, then started it.

Amanda was then with her after a few seconds and they got inside the car, Ashley calling for shotgun.

"I'm excited to start school the next day! How many cute boys could be there?" Ashley asked excitedly.
"Uh-uh. No boys. You go to school to learn, not to find yourself a boyfriend" I playfully rolled my eyes and shook head.

Amanda and Ashley just laugh.
