So, for our last morning marching band practice, we started out by watching the senior's show they preformed in as freshman. Then, we went outside. Everything was coated in frost! Some kids were sliding in it, while others were drawing in it. Hayley started drawing a 2019, but Cameron jumped in and turned the zero into... well... a bodily part. (Lets keep this rated G, shall we?)
Anyways, while the percussion was warming up, they used our sound system to blare some classic rock tunes. Everyone was jamming out to it, including the winds and the guard. We actually got a lot done that practice. (Surprisingly) As we were walking back into the school, a trombonist started to play taps. It almost made me cry, on top of everyone else being sappy about it.
