So, our BD just gave us new music that we may or may not play for the next concert. (I hope we do) We have this one called Walking To The Sky by Robert Buckley that sounds like something straight out of a movie/videogame. Mr. J continues to tell us that it has a cinematic feel to it, but that he can't imagine the story behind it. I started imagining it the instant we listened to the recording the first time. I thought I might share it here. (Mostly because everyone would think I was weird if I told them)

**You can follow along as you listen to the song, or you could listen first. (Whatever works for you)

0:0-0:15:  Two beautiful villages can be seen. Marbonia is a rather large, seaside village nestled along a bay between the border of desert and forest. Dorian is a fortress/village along the side of the Dark Mountains.

0:16-0:29: Just inside Dorian's gates, a battalion is preparing leave the fortress, and go scout out the city of Marbonia. Among them is a young man around 18 years old, Skye. He has shaggy dirty-blonde hair that compliments his soft brown eyes. This would be Skye's first quest, before he marries the general's daughter, Mirabel. Secretly, he  is horrified that he was condemned into her marriage. Alas... he cannot tell his father. Especially in this moment, as his father is remarking about how proud his family is of him. Broodingly, he stares off into the distance, wondering how he can turn his life around.

0:30-0:42: As the battalion travels across the bay, a beautiful Marbonian girl also ponders her life's purpose. Eroica is a girl of about 17, with hair black as midnight, and dark skin. In the market, she sells the fish her father catches day after day. As sunset neared, her father came up to her stand to help her close shop. Again, he asks her about whom she is going to marry, and that if she doesn't decide soon, he will have to chose for her. Eroica sighs, and only agrees. Angering her father would only make things worse. She stared at her ruby necklace, the only thing her mother left behind before she was killed by Dorians. Mother would understand... she thought, then followed her father home to their hut.

0:43-1:10: After three days, the battalion reaches Marbonia. They go to the market disguised as friendly foreign travelers. Skye's father buys lots of things to take back Dorian, to prove Marbonia is worth invading. Skye went on his own, mostly because he couldn't understand why the general would want to invade this peaceful town. All of a sudden, he bumps into this girl with a ruby necklace, and knocks her over. He can't help but feel intrigued as he helps her up, and helps her put her cart back together. They talk for the rest of the day. Skye reveals that he is a Dorian, but Eroica doesn't seem to mind. Because her father spent nights out partying, she took Skye to her favorite place in the forest.

1:11-1:38: Every night, the two meet in the secret spot in the forest between their two cities. They fall in love, despite the feud. Skye continually feels like he should tell her about the upcoming invasion, but he doesn't have the heart to do it.

1:39-2:07: One night during their meeting, the Dorian army marches through their secret spot, catching Skye in the act of treason. They almost kill Eroica, but they tie her to a tree instead, and they take Skye back to Dorian.

2:08-2:34: Eroica unties herself in about an hour, and runs back to the village. Unfortunately, it's too late. Her whole town was being burned, and nearly everyone was dead.  The army was advancing up the hill, probably to another neighboring town.

2:35-3:01: Eroica rides up to Dorian on a horse and fights her way to the center of town. (Most of the army is still invading somewhere else) She gets the general to tell her where Skye is.

3:02-3:23: She climbs up the mountain, calling Skye's name over and over.

3:24: They spot eachother, then run together

3:27-3:29: They pull eachother tight, then kiss for the first time.

3:30-3:36: A piece of snow breaks off the ice cap, and comes barreling down at them. They run for their lives.

3:37-end: The avalanche engulfs the two lovers. You can see their hands reaching for eachother, right before they get completely covered.

                                                                                 The End!!

No, seriously. This is what I imagined. (Kinda weird, if you think about it)
