[Chapter 14]

It feels as if he's messing with my mind. I can't explain it, but I was happy that he did thank me for saving him. It was just all I wanted.

Did Jisung talk with him about it? Still not sure, but that's not what matters right now.

I was standing in the middle of the kitchen room wondering why I obeyed him to make him food. I'm not that soft hearted at all. Why did I made my way here?

Isn't he the one who should be preparing food? I saved him, didn't I? Well, but he's now not in his best state so I kind of understand.

I just decided to make him ramyeon for 3 minutes and not think much about it.

I returned to the living room, only to notice Changbig asleep on the sofa. I didn't get angry, because I can eat the ramyeon after all. I guess he was really exhausted after the attack so he still needs to recover.

He's really heavy so I can't drag him to the nurse room. I toke a blanket and a pillow from my room, put them on him and made sure he is comfortable.

Still I wanted to check out on I.M. to see how he's doing with his recovery. I entered and saw him laying on his bed and talking with Seungmin sitting  next to him.

- Mind if I come in? - I asked quietly.

- Come in, take a seat. - Seungmin made a gesture with his hand for me to enter.

I toke a chair and moved it close to Changkyun's bed.

- Is everything alright? How are you feeling?

- I'm feeling slightly better. Tomorrow Monsta X will come so I can return to our base. - he was talking almost whispering because of the pain in his chest. I think that he's more injured than Changbin.

- He was just about to tell me how it all happened. - Seungmin said and I just nodded my head.

Changkyun was talking slowly and we both were trying to pay a lot of attention not to miss something.

- So as Hanbyul went for Gray I was left sitting next to the bar and waiting for Changbin to contact me. However, I never received his message. I started to worry about him, as 30 minutes passed. Hanbyul and Crush just left the area they were chatting on. I stood up and went to search for Changbin, I knew he must be in the security room. I went there and the view shocked me. He was laying on the floor all covered in blood and two men walking around the room. Then I felt the back of my head numb and everything turned black. When I woke up I was tied with Changbin on the floor, all of my body hurting as hell. I saw the men approaching me and I quickly tried to call Hanbyul's name but soon after they toke my mics. It was hard to breath I soon realized that I was bleeding badly from somewhere near my chest area. I tried to call and look at Changbin but he was already out of the game. I was scared he might be dead and then I saw Hanbyul kicking those ugly asses so I was relieved that we might get out of here but also a bit scared because I didn't know her and what kind of fighter she was. Was she able to kill them all, all alone? Anyway she did kill them all, and she called help. Changbin didn't see everything that happened and nothing from the end and that's why he was a bit suspicious at the begging.

- I see, but how come they defeated Changbin? - asked Seungmin.

- I think we made our plan really bad, it didn't turn out well. Changbin acted like a kid and didn't give her a permission to fight, which was extremely stupid because she's one of the best killers I've ever seen- he chuckled- we were so damn lucky that he toke her on the mission and that she had her knife with her. That's crazy I still can't believe it that I'm alive.

- I agree, Changbin was acting childish, I'm his partner and this mission was really serious. VIXX and AOMG are not to joke with. They of course were prepared for an attack and we were only 3 with 2 guns. Ridiculous. - I scoffed.
