"Beth!" Bella called out frantically.

"Elizabeth!"

"She's right here, silly girl..." a spine chilling voice whispered in her ear. Blood freezing in her veins, Bella slowly turned, but no one was standing there. Only, a figure dressed in white sprawled out with matted brown hair laying on the damp forest floor. The air around her seemed colder and charged with something that made a her want to choke.

Upon closer inspection, she saw something haunting, wide brown eyes connected with a hazy pair that looked off into a distance unknown, a look of horror permanently etched onto her face and down her neck sat two small puncture wounds dripping with chilling blood.

A sob burst forth from Bella as she noticed familiar features begin to clear in front of her very eyes. Her usually pale skin had lost all color, lips a deep blue and over her eyes sat a milky film. Her usually warm, wavy brown hair that Isabella had always been jealous of was now dull. She collapsed in front of the body, ignoring the chill that seemed to crawl up her spine and make her hair stand on end.

"No!" It couldn't be.

But it was. It was Beth.

"NO!"

She was dead.

Breathing heavily, Isabella shot out of her bed, sweat dribbling down her face as she panted. Upon regulating her breath, she sobbed and her head fell into her hands. It had been so real. But she wasn't dead. She'd just seen her at dinner a few hours ago, perfectly healthy and living...heart beating.

Bella shook her head, she had to go. She had to go and see and make sure that her twin was okay. Anxiously, she left her room in the dead of night, door and floorboards creaking ever so slightly as she stopped in front of Elizabeth's room.

"Liz?" She knocked softly, and upon hearing no noises, decided that she was being ridiculous and that she should go back to her room. About halfway down the hallway, her sister's room opened,

"Bella?" Elizabeth whispered in the darkness. She had woken up two minutes ago from this haunting feeling in her chest, so powerful it woke her up. She knew that it hadn't been coming from her, as she'd been dreaming about unicorns and ice cream for Pete's sake! What was scary about that? Not a thing. So, she deduced it was most likely Bella.

Bella's chest felt ten times lighter as she heard her twin answer. A relieved sigh escaped her. She was fine. Nothing had happened to Liz.

"Nothing, nevermind." Bella assured but Beth had already began walking towards her, sensing that something was very off.

"Are you crying?" Liz cooed as she reached out to her twin, pulling her into an embrace. Bella practically collapsed, thoughts of her dream circulating her head and still the anxious feeling lingered.

"I just- h-had a bad dream,"

Liz hushed her, slowly rubbing Isa's back as her old grandma instincts kicked in. She tried thinking of what Reneé would have done in this situation and came to a conclusion.

After Bella had calmed down again, Liz slowly moved them both back to her own room to sleep on her bed together.

"Do you want to talk about it?" Liz asked quietly once they laid down, facing one another with their knees drawn up to their chests.

Bella sighed, she didnt really but she knew that it would help to get it off her chest.

"It was just something that Jacob told me when I went down to the rez yesterday," Bella sniffled, "he told me a story about this family- the Cullens. About-about them being vampires."

At this, Beth's heart began beating faster, but she schooled her expression less Bella was able to see the shock on her face in the dark.

Shit, that was another thing she had forgotten.

At her silence, Bella continued, "I was in this weird place and- and I was looking for you and I couldn't find you. Then this creepy voice told me that you were there and when..."

"When I turned around to look for you, you were- you were..."another sob cracked the brunette's frame, salty tears streaming down her face.

Liz sighed, pulling her twin into another hug, "I'm here. I'm okay."

Bella nodded into her sister's neck, hair sticking to her skin from the sweat that had built up from her dream.

"It was so real..."

"I know, but it didnt happen. I'm still here, alive and breathing."

Bella sighed heavily, suddenly exhausted from all of the day's events. All she wanted was to sleep now, but she was too comfortable to go back to her room.

"Shh. Stay here." Liz insisted, sensing her sister's train of thought.

"I'm here, Bella."

Bella nodded, half awake as her eyes closed half-way, " I love you."

Elizabeth smiled into her hair, "Love you too..."

And then Bella fell back into a deep sleep, less anxious than before and  Liz now riddled with concern and worry.

How was Beth supposed to deal with the new developments? How could she get Bella and Edward together when Bella was very clearly disgusted by the mere thought of the boy and the boy's attention was on herself?

What was she to do know that Bella was getting closer and closer to the truth everyday?

What was she going to do.

Elizabeth frowned into the darkness, "Shit. I'm in so deep."
