AUDREY’S POV 

I looked at Harry, who was looking at me with his jaw dropped. Did they just say should could go… home? We both looked at Bailey, who stared at us with excited eyes.

“We’ve got nowhere for you to go,” I sighed. “We’re not even moved into the new house yet, and we’re busy, Bailey,” I said. Her face fell, and mine did too. I really would love for her to live with us, it would be so much fun.

“I know I want you to, it would be a blast,” Harry said. “But with the baby and me working and Audrey working… I don’t know if we could.”

And then I remembered who lives pretty much right down the road. It could take some improvising, but… “Dan and Phil are right down the road,” I said. Bailey looked at me with wide eyes and Harry looked at me and was confused as a llama.

“I would have to ask and it would take some work, and you would have to leave them alone when they’re working, you can stay with us most nights. I mean… I could give him money for food and living. It could work, but if he says no don’t be devastated. You would have to go with mum.”

Bailey looked at me and smiled that hopeful smile she always does. I love that smile. “Can you call him?” She begged. She flipped her front lip and I sighed.

“He’s going to take a few days to think about it, and if you need to be out of here by today we’re going to have to talk to Paul and Louis about you living at Harry’s place until we go to our house.”

“Okay,” She said, and then turned towards Harry and they both started fangirling together. I smiled and walked out the door, dialing Phil’s number.

“Hey, Audrey!” He said.

“Hey, I kind of have a crazy idea,” I sighed. “Dan’s going to have to listen to.”

“I’ll go get him,” He asked more than said.

“Hey Aud,” Dan’s voice said.

“Listen… I’ve got really good news, then news that might not be so good.”

“Go on,” They both said.

“Bailey is being let out of the hospital right now, but she can’t live permanently with Harry and I in our new house. It would all be too busy,” I sighed. “And you know how you live like, right down the road?”

“Yeah…” They both said at the same time, their voices ringing with confusion.

“Well, don’t interrupt. She can live with you guys but spend pretty much every night with us. When neither of us can take her mum can. I will pay for food for her, for living, for tampons, all that. I will buy her furniture for her bedroom, her clothes, all that stuff, I will do it. I just need you guys to help out,” I said quickly.

They paused for a second and they were probably looking at each other, deciding in that mental way they do by reading each other’s mind. “We’ll do it,” They both said at the same time.

“Really?” I shouted, covering my hand with my mouth. “I love you guys so much! When are you ready for her?” I asked, waving my hands in front of my face.

“Whenever, really,” Phil said. “Does she know she can’t bother us while we’re working?”

“Trust me, she knows the rules,” I assured. “Is like, tomorrow okay? She’ll stay with us tonight then I’ll drive her down tomorrow?”
