For the week following my second meeting with Lysandre, my pokemon and I pledged to train even harder than we had ever before. He had unveiled his plans to Elaine and I, for what reason, I was unsure. However, that was no matter because if Lysandre was able to accomplish his goal, then the Kalos region, no the whole world, would be plunged into another terrible war.

The only person I could turn to for help was the masked trainer and his powerful Blaziken, as he was able to save everyone in the Restaurant Le Wow incident. However, I had no hope of being able to locate him. Soon, I realised that it would be easier for him to come to me, so for now I bided my time, knowing that for now all I could do was train.

Currently, my pokemon and I were training in one of the parks in South Lumiose. The sun had completely set, but that didn't mean our training was coming to an end. I was catching my breathe at the side of one of the battlefields, straining to keep up with the insane speeds and endurance of each of my pokemon.

A worried Arcanine saw me from the corner of his eye. He broke off from his training with Aegislash, the two making their way over to me slowly. Soon, everyone else had joined the pair, all six pokemon stood around me.

"Don't worry about me guys. We should keep our focus on training because we might be needed at any moment."

All of my pokemon understood what I was saying but their concerns were evident. They were right to feel that way, knowing that I would soon overwork myself, not being able to keep up with them at all.

"Young trainer."

A voice caused me to snap my head to the right. Following my gaze, my pokemon and I turned to see a familiar masked man. His red and white feathered mask sat atop his head, a midnight black cape covering his body. By his side, his trusted fire pokemon stood, not in his mega form this time.

The blaze pokemon's eyes darted around the seven of us, analysing us in some way. His piercing blue eyes contrasted with his red, white and yellow feathers.

"You're the same man who saved us back at Restaurant Le Wow about a month ago. You're the Blaziken Mask."

Silently, the masked man nodded to my statement. His partner pokemon stood beside him, his gaze unwavering.

"I can see that you've gotten much stronger than the last time we met so I come to you asking for you're aid."

I realised that this was my opportunity to find an ally who would be able to help me deal with Lysandre. Quietly, I let out a sigh of relief but I was sure it didn't go unnoticed by the masked trainer. He and his pokemon slowly made their way toward me, a distinct serious expression under the mask.

"Each of the gym leaders has a city to protect and unfortunately, the elite four won't be of much help to us."

From the way he spoke, it seemed that he knew why each of the elite four hadn't intervened with Team Flare. I asked him to elaborate but her remained silent, not expanding on his earlier statement.

"How will we track down Team Flare? Their base of operations could be anywhere around the region and we can't cover that much ground in time."

Silently, the masked trainer nodded, understanding that it would be difficult for us to pinpoint Team Flare's location. However, his eyes glinted in the darkness, indicating that he knew something about the terrorist group.

"I have a lead regarding their location but, I'm not convinced on its reliability. It would be best if we investigated it now, considering the convenient timing."

Quickly, I looked to each of my pokemon who nodded in unison. I quickly returned each of them to their pokeballs, with the exception of Aegislash who I decided would be of most help to us.
