"Calem?"

My voice felt trapped in my throat as no sound emerged from my mouth. I quickly tried to piece together what was happening, feeling a similar emotion surge through my body as the time I had joined Elaine in her dream. I couldn't help but think that I wasn't only in a dream, I must have been showed a vision about the person.

The quiet boy in front of me stirred from his silence. As he turned to face me, I let out a sigh of relief as the boy was indeed my neighbour and rival. He had a look of shock on his face, clearly confused at how I was here with him.

"H-How are you here? Y-You need to leave Aaron, before it's too late."

Unable to make sense of his warning, I could only return the confused expression. I remained silent, the two of us staring at each other in the dark empty void surrounding us.

Then all of a sudden, the void began to dissipate into the thin air, revealing a large concrete area  connecting to a large two floored building. The structure stretched around, signs indicating that this was a school. Calem was stood beside me, anxious to see what would happen. I guessed this was some sort of outdoor area and the apprehensive look on my rival's face showed me that this was likely to be his school.

A ringing of a bell was followed by the concrete area to be flooded with children, their ages ranging from around ten up to kids the same age as us.

From the crowd, I saw a small pitch black haired boy. He was looking in our direction and I had to do a double take to make sure he wasn't looking directly at us. His facial features fitted those of a younger Calem and quickly I put two and two together, realising that we were stood in Calem's old school.

"Hey guys look! It's that loser, Camel!"

Through the crowd of people, three more boys pushed through. Soon the swarm of people had separated, leaving a circle of spectators surrounding the four boys. All of the children seemed to be anticipating something, and I could tell that it wasn't anything good.

"Come on guys, knock it off. This isn't a good time."

One of the boys stepped forward, the supposed leader of the group of three. He scoffed at young Calem's statement, not caring that he was pushing a clearly hurting Calem even more.

"And what? You gonna cry about it? Go cry to your stupid ass parents because that's all a bitch like you is good for."

Unfazed by the insult, I could tell that Calem was forced to build a tolerance to idiots like these kids. Instead of replying back, the young obsidian haired boy remained silent, not wanting to waste his time with them.

"Hey did you here me?"

Clearly wanting more of a reaction, the leader of the group stepped forward, his long brown hair blowing in the gentle breeze. A dark grey cloud stirred in the distance, serving as a premonition for what was about to happen.

The boy stepped closer to Calem, who now had his eyes fixed on the ground. The brown haired boy looked to the crowd before pushing my young neighbour on his shoulder. Seeing that Calem opted to stay silent once again, he pushed once more, this time with a lot more force.

It didn't take long for the pushing to devolve into punches accompanied by more insults. I could sense the seething rage welling up inside the obsidian haired boy as he tried his hardest to contain his anger.

However, the pot had reached boiling point. In a frenzy, Calem lashed out, his right fist connecting with the other boy's jaw, causing him to stumble backwards. The other two wanted to get involved but the brown haired boy assured them that he would deal with Calem.
