her heart is broken at all the wrong places
her cries affect the skies, a sea of blazes
she clutches at straws because that's all she has
it won't be long until her heart finally tearsand she thinks that she's just a nobody
who can blame her? this world is cruel
but i want to be there to sing a melody
to remind her that she may feed on gruelbut that doesn't change the fact that
she's still beautiful, and will always be better
than i am. that the world shouldn't have let
her down, that the stars she loathes know betterthan she thinks they do. that they revolve
around her like tiny satellites, dividing oceans
and letting the small rain puddles dissolve
in case they're out to harm her broken emotionsany further. that the world is silently
watching her, a star among the weak-hearted
telling her that it's fine to rebel defiantly
trust can break once, and be shatteredbut love overrules all. her heart may be broken,
but mistakes are nothing but a small token
for such is the bitter truth of life
the world stops for no one until they strive
_Another old poem from my Instagram because I'm tired :") I haven't been able to write poetry recently because I've been busy, but I'll try to have some decent ones out soon! Things haven't been great - reality is kind of catching up with me and I'm overwhelmed :( But it's okay! Have a wonderful day or night ahead. Take care! <3
