Bailey

Once Corey gets back from his trip he insists we all hang out together. Even though him and I were best friends, to him Brady he was one of the guys and they always got along well. Technically they were friends before Corey and I since they played together, but not long after they became friends did Corey realize that I was the cooler of the two and he attached to me. Can't say I blame him.

So I have Brady and Kaitlyn come over and we decide on what we wanted to do for the day. We hang out on my couch as I playfully sit in Corey's lap. He wraps his arm around me so I don't fall off and I look through my phone for something to do.

"So it's like a double date" Brady claims causing my head to shoot up. My cheek burn like a wildfire as I try not to freak out.

"No... no double date" I argue.

"Oh come on" he pouts. "You guys have basically been together since grade 2 and the way it sounds, it's pretty much a double date."

"Leave her alone Brady" Corey defends. He pulls me closer because he knows if this goes south I'm jumping out of his lap to try and knock some sense into my brother.

"I can't. She's my sister" Brady argues.

"Let's just figure out a place to do something fun" Corey insists.

"Lets go bowing" Kaitlyn suggests.

"No" Corey and Brady say at the same time. Kaitlyn looks at them weird as she tries to figure out why.

"Dang, I guess bowling is out of the question" she mumbles.

"It's not you. It's just Bailey and bowling don't go together very well" Corey explains.

"How so" Kaitlyn asks.

"I get competitive! Okay" I laugh.

"Then what can you do" she asks me.

"We can go to a concert in the park. I don't remember who's playing but someone is out there tonight" I say.

"Oh! That can be fun" Kaitlyn agrees.

"I'm down" Brady admits.

"Wanna hit up a bar beforehand" Corey questions.

"Hell yeah" I admit.

So we change into outfits that were party appropriate and decide to hit up Corey's favorite bar. He's basically treated like royalty there and we could get some free drinks out of it. We get in and start to drink and I start to have a good time. I take as many shots as I can handle before I really start to feel it.

"Come dance with me" I slur as I grab Corey's hand. He grabs me back but only so I don't pull him out of his seat.

"Bai-by, you've known me for how long" he asks me.

"Too long" I admit as he laughs at me.

"Right. And how many times have you gotten me to dance in the bar with you" he questions.

"One time" I declare.

"When" he wonders.

"Now" I smile.

I pull on his arm and he eventually lets me yank him out of the booth. I pull him to where everyone else was dancing and he just crossed his arms over his chest. He takes things so seriously so often he forgets that we get this one life and we can't spend it worried about what other people think.

"Come on! Dance with me" I beg.

"Nope" he replies assuredly.

"No one is even watching us, let lose" I insist.
