Corey
Bailey and I have been together for well over a month now and we still haven't had our first date. We've been out many times before and we've done things as a couple but not on a officially date. And it's been almost two decades we've been falling in love with each other, I'm sure we don't need dates. I know everything there is to know about her and she knows everything there is to know about me. But it's still good to go out. Make new dreams to develop.
As for tonight I was taking her out to her favorite restaurant and we were going to sit rooftop while we ate our meal. I even hired some people to play some soft music and got her favorite wine from back home. I know I didn't need to impress her or have to prove myself to her. She already loves me more than any girl should love a boy. But I want her to know that I'm never going to stop trying to impress her. Trying to show her my love.
"Oh hey there girl" I say as I lean over to let the puppy dog. She had her new color on with a tag that had her name on it. She looked extra cute with the Blackhawks bandana on. "Watcha got there" I ask as as I find a piece of paper in her bandana.
I take the piece of paper and unfold it. I see Baileys painfully good hand writing and smile to myself. I start to ready what our good messenger dog had to deliver me.
"Dear Corey,
Come into the bedroom for a little surprise.
Love, Bailey."I toss the note to the floor and head back to the bedroom. I fling the door open and see Bailey sitting on the bed in a sexy black dress. Her long legs hanging out and the neckline so deep you could drown. I swallow hard as I walk over to where she was sitting. Nothing but candles lighting the room as she smiles bright.
She calls me over with her finger and I happily do as I'm told. I crawl on top of her as she pulls me down so her body was pressed against mine. I pull her into a deep kiss as my weight falls on top of her. The scent of her perfume so sweet I thought I was going to get a cavity.
"What's your game" I whisper on her lips.
"That we can be a little late to the reservation" she smirks.
"A little" I tease making her giggle.
"A lot" she smiles.
She slowly takes her hair down as it flies onto she bed. I smile as big as ever because I dreamed of moments like this for the longest time. To see her in all her beauty, to feel her in the way I am. To me she was perfect and this was just a testament to that.
After that was all said and down we get changed and head to dinner. We get our seats and drink some wine just enjoying each other's presence. Ever since we left the house earlier she's had this huge smile on her face and I couldn't help but feel the least bit responsible.
"So as far as first dates go I think we're doing pretty good" I insist.
"I really don't think we can call this a first date. I know everything there is to know about you and you know about me. I would hardly call anything about this a first" she claims.
"Earlier was a first" I smirk and her cheeks get bright red.
"Okay, that is true. But that wasn't a part of the date. Usually people have sex after the date, not before" she argues.
"And since when we're we a normal couple" I tease.
"Alright... fair enough" she nods. "But I love our relationship. I like the quirks and how we do everything backwards and the fact that we can't function without each other. It might not be normal, but it's still beautiful in every right" she claims.
"That it is" I smile.
We finish our food and decide to dance a little. I wasn't good at slow dancing but if we get married I'm going to have to know how to slow dance so I let her drag me out of our seats and teach me. So she places my hands where they're supposed to be and she does what she needs. She looks up at me with those snow ball eyes and I feel my heart start to pound.
"When did you learn to slow dance" I wonder.
"I've been to a few weddings in my day. My dad taught me" she explains and I smile.
"You're such a daddy's girl" I tease.
"Oh, and you're not a mommas boy" she scoffs.
"I never said that" I smirk.
She playfully punches my chest before wrapping her arms around my neck. I pull her body against mine until she couldn't be any closer. We continue to sway to the music as we just exist together.
"You're not that bad at dancing hockey boy" she jokes.
"Hey, I gotta be light on my feet" I defend.
"So what's next for us? We've gone in our "first" date and we learned to slow dance. Now what" she wonders.
I just smile as I let out a long sigh. "We got the rest of our lives to figure this out. I say we just take it day by day" I insist.
"Such a hockey player answer" she accuses.
"Habit I guess" i shrug.
"Lucky you I speak fluent hockey player" she smirks.
"Yeah, lucky me."
