Early Chapter! I've got a few updates lined up so I shouldn't be late for a while :)
Just wanna say, that when I wrap this version up, I'm MAYBE going to write a new one (same story, but a bit different...). Only because I've changed so much since I started writing this last year, and I think the beginning and the end sound oddly like it was written by two different people. Also many things don't match up because I've changed the plot along the way!
Don't worry though, I will change the ending of the new one, that way you'll still be surprised and it won't be like your reading the exact same story again (if you choose to read the new version...)
Anyways, hope you like this chapter! It's Isaak again :)

Isaak's P.O.V
I hadn't been on a boat in such a long time. So, when I sat down on the wooden deck and felt it sway, I instantly directed my gaze at the blue sky peeping through the foliage, hoping to ease my queasy stomach. "How long is this gonna take?" I asked Willow as she sat next to me. "To get to Colm."
"A day or so?" She asked back, pursing her lips with a shrug. "I'm not entirely sure, you should ask one of the immortals."
I nodded slowly. A day, a whole another day away from Ash. I could only hope he was okay. I knew he had to be alive; he was no use to them dead.
The thought made me sick.
"Alright! Let's be off!" Saga exclaimed as he clambered on board, followed by a frustrated looking Archer. They had gone to get some supplies. Saga offered me some sort of food; dried meat and a fruit of some sort.
I took it gratefully, albeit hesitantly, and nibbled on the food cautiously. "It's so sweet!" I exclaimed, studying the fruit a bit closer. It was a soft red thing, a bit like an apple but more plum-like. It was so juicy, and reminded me of something like a toffee apple, but had some elements of passionfruit and the texture of a mango. "What the heck?"
"So yummy!" Willow exclaimed, snatching one from Saga and chomping on it happily. "They're my favourite fruit."
I looked over at Archer, who was struggling to untie the ropes holding the boat to the land. "Are you going to eat something, Archer?"
"In a second. We've got to get going." He grunted. He hissed as his hands somehow slipped on the rope; he must have given himself rope burn somehow.
"Here, let me help." Saga (after putting the bag of food down) waltzed over to Archer, standing behind and reaching around him to untie instead.
I tilted my head at this odd gesture, and then noticed that Archer was frozen, his hands poised over the knot, and a blush had crept up his neck and scattered itself over his cheeks.
Willow giggled quietly. "Am I the only one who thinks Archer is acting a bit strange?" She whispered.
I shook my head, grinning at her. Wow. A crushing Archer.
"I-I can do it, Saga!" Archer snapped out of his trance, and slapped Saga's hands away, spinning around to shove him off. "I'm not a child."
Saga barely stumbled, and his face was not surprised at all. He gave Archer a lopsided, sheepish smile. "Sorry."
Archer huffed, returning to the knot. Well... I thought, you are acting like a child, Archer.
"You can untie the other one, Saga." Archer muttered. Saga shrugged, and wandered over to the other ropes. It didn't take Archer long to untie it this time, though, I noticed his hands were shaking now. Interesting...
