It's not going to workout. This just isn't working out for reasons I know you know. I'm sorry, I hope you understand though.

The words replayed in Peter's head on a grievous loop. MJ has finally broken up with him, saying he was too reckless and while she supported what he did, she just couldn't let herself constantly worry about him. She said he was selfish for that.

It hurt more now than at the time it was said. When it happened his brain didn't even seem to register the blatant insult and blame pointed at him. She could've just said: It's not me, it's you. MJ didn't though and now as he thought it over he realized it wasn't just his fault.

Michelle was the one who began the relationship with him. He had a crush on her but he didn't want to ruin their friendship. She ruined the friendship and the whole relationship. If she truly supported him she would've helped. It seemed the only hand she would lend was when it directly affected her. It should be their problems, not just his or hers.

Peter stared at the churro he got for free from the stand while in his spider suit. The man always gave him a churro. He was very nice.

Maybe MJ wasn't nice. She never got him a churro. Or anything.

"Peter," Karen said. Peter zones back in and watched to see the sun barley visible over the horizon. "Tony is calling."

"Um, yeah, answer," Tony's face then appeared. "Hey, Mr. Stark."

"Peter, we're having dinner tonight with the gang in half an hour. Are you coming back soon?" Mr. Stark asked. Peter looked at his churro before nodding.

"Yeah, I'll head back now."

"Okay, hurry up," Mr. Stark then hung up and Peter began the grand adventure of swinging back to the tower, the churro strung to his arm.

"Hey, Mr. Stark," the kid said when he got there eventually. Tony rolled his eyes at the name but he could never convince Pete to say something different.

"Hey, kid, everybody is in the living room. Go change." Tony eyes the churro curiously for a second before deciding he didn't need to question in. Peter nodded and ran off and came back a few minutes later.

"Hi guys," Peter sat on the couch next to Bucky and grabbed a slice of pizza. "What are we watching?" Only then did he notice people were all loosely placed around the room. He slowly took a bite, unsure on what was happening but he was hungry.

"We want to talk to you about MJ."

"No thanks, Mr. Stark," Peter swallowed his food. "I've decided that's no fun."

"He doesn't not have a point there," Clint said and everybody shushed him. Barton threw his hands up in defense and ate his pizza.

"We just want to make sure your okay. I know you took it roughly, worse than her, but we are all here for you. Cap here is still attached to some lady from pre-ice. I'm dating the CEO of my own company. Natasha- nevermind." Tony trailed off. "Nobody is great at relationships and sometimes you got to get kicked in the butt and pushed towards a new one. Okay?"

"Yeah, okay," Peter nodded, understanding what he was saying even though he didn't say it well. Pete didn't know why they needed the whole gang for that. "Can we watch Stranger Things or something now?" Bucky clapped, enjoying that response and turned on Netflix as everybody settled down into their usual seats.

I just can't update as often anymore, I have no time. I'll still update whenever I can but I don't even have time to proofread my stuff. Thank you guys for reading and remember to comment and vote!
