Roman was lost. He was completely and totally lost. Virgil was amazing. It was really hard to stay focused. In fact, Virgil had to stop several times to pull Roman's attention back with a laugh. Virgil didn't seem to mind it too much though. It wasn't like Roman was upset so there wasn't a need to worry. He just kept getting lost... Lost in Virgil's eyes and voice that is. The actor had quite clearly fallen for the darker one. Just how long had he been falling?
"OH, MY DEVILS DICKS WHAT THE FUCK VIRGIL!" Roman jumped hearing the sudden voice as Virgil's face horror. Not the bad kind more of the extremely embarrassing kind. Roman didn't move. He just peaked back to see a familiar face and his heart drop. Remus... "What, I leave for one play and suddenly its 'let's blow up the school'?"
"Remus calm yourself." Roman slowly inched away thanking the heavens he still had his bright blonde hair so that his twin didn't notice him right away. They may be twins but you can't see shit if you're staring at the man's back.
"I can't believe you're JD!" Remus squealed and Roman decided to book it. He gave no notice or anything. The actor just walked off stage avoiding any eye contact or showing his face towards his brother at all. He just wasn't ready for this. Virgil frowned watching Roman leave. He was going to say something but Remus grabbed his hand and spun him around inciting quite the laugh from Virgil... making Roman freeze in his spot. "Why didn't you tell me? I had to hear from Cassidy... who's also upset mind you because he had to hear from Patton."
"I'm sorry, Ray." Virgil smiled as Roman slowly put his shade on watching from a distance. "There was just a lot going on. I guess I forgot." Remus gasped dramatically as he collapsed on to the floor making Virgil laugh some more... and Roman to frown. "Seriously? Ray, get up. You're causing a scene."
"My little Virgie is finally going to be on stage and there were just to many things going on to tell us?" Ray pretended to ball as Virgil groaned with amusement. "My little Virgie just doesn't care."
"Ray, this is ridiculous." Virgil laughed as Remus just smiled up at him. "I'm in class what is wrong with you?"
"Plenty but you know you can't be mad at me." Remus slowly pushed himself to his feet before pulling Virgil into a hug. "You know it's only cuz I care." Virgil smiled softly as he chuckled quietly. Roman watched from the corner feeling his chest tighten up. Hearing the way Remus made Virgil laugh... It upset him for some reason. He didn't like it. Remus jumped back with such an excited look Virgil knew he was in for it. "WHY DON'T I HELP YOU PRACTICE THIS TIME?!" Roman's heart literally stopped. Virgil looked around not seeing Roman who had ducked behind a set-piece as Remus jumped excitedly. "Oh, come on, please. You help me all the time. It'd be a role reversal. Please. Please. Please."
"Ok!" Roman's blood went cold as Virgil laugh while Remus yelled happily. "Fine, you can help me practice."
"YES!" Remus sang happily as he ran over grabbing a script off of someone so stunned over being his presence they didn't even really notice they were handing it over. "LET'S DO DEAD GIRL WALKING!"
"WHAT?!" Roman slapped a hand over his mouth as he hid trying to ignore the pit in his chest. Remus just shrugged that off not knowing who had said it. Virgil was laughing his ass off.
"Of course you picked that one."
"What it's not like you haven't helped me with scenes like this before." Remus winked suggestively as Virgil shook his head laughing.
"You just want to give Cassidy a reason to get jealous." Remus shrugged with a smirk as Virgil sighed. "Sure. I need to practice it any way and in all honesty... I'd rather you right now that...then uh..." Roman's eyes narrowed from where he was hiding as he just deflated. "I'd rather you that the one playing Veronica right now. Don't think I could really handle it."
"Hey don't worry about it, Virgil. I'm sure Veronica would understand." Roman peaked out of his hiding spot to find Remus dragging Virgil off and he frowned. Remus was right. Roman did understand why Virgil might not what to do the song with him right yet. He could understand but... The idea of Virgil doing a song like that with...
"Let's start from the top!" Roman stood there watching for as long as he could. The way Remus would randomly do something that would make Virgil break down and laugh. The way Virgil smiled. They those two just... It was clear they were close. If it wasn't for the fact that Roman knew Remus was taken... his jealously right now would probably have made him snap. He couldn't take watching it anymore. He grabbed his jacket as fast as he could and walked out of the door ignoring the calls from the teacher who had come back happy to see Remus was there too.
"ROMAN!" Remus stopped short as he turned just in time to see the door closing behind someone. The teacher groaned as he shook his head. "First that guy offers to do pretty much everything and now he leaves and does nothing. Actors... I tell you... The whole lot of them..." Remus cleared his throat catching the teacher's attention whose face went white as Remus glared at him. "Sorry."
"Did you just say..." Virgil took Remus's hand seeing the way the other actor frowned and nodded. "He's here... Wait. HE WAS RIGHT HERE?!"
"He's the one playing Veronica." Remus's eyes went wide as he looked back over at Virgil who frowned staring at the door. "Actually, Ray... There's something I want to ask you."
