"Virgil! Where have you been?" Roman beamed as he jumped up dragging the anxious one over to the table they were at. Patton laughed as Virgil literally stumbled. "We've been waiting for so long."

"I'm 6 minutes early." Roman laughed awkwardly as Virgil shot them both a look. "How long have you guys been waiting?"

"I've only just gotten here too kiddo." Virgil's eyes narrowed seeing Patton glance over at Roman and frown. "Roman, however..."

"I got bored... can you blame me?" Roman laughed but it was filled with worry as his eyes met with Virgil's before dropping back to the table.

"Roman how long have you..."

"All Freaking Afternoon!" Virgil jumped hearing Remy growl behind him and Roman's eyes went wide. "Mr. MyBrothersAnAsshole's been here since he left rehearsal."

"ROMAN!" Virgil was shocked. Remy sat down beside them all as Roman just sighed. "What the heck?"

"I didn't exactly have anywhere else to go, Virge." Roman's eyes darkened as his expression dropped a bit. "And I was not staying there."

"Yes, we know..." Remy's voice was a practical growl as Roman cringed. "Or at least I do, considering you wouldn't shut up. What did Remus even do?" Roman's eyes quickly darted to Virgil before looking away again and Remy narrowed his eyes. "Roman..."

"Remus showed up at the rehearsal." Virgil wouldn't stop staring at Roman who was obviously upset about something. "Roman left before they even got to talk."

"According to Roman here, he overstayed his welcome."

"I didn't say that..." Virgil's eyes went to the clock drowning out the sound of Roman trying to defend himself. It was 7:59... Virgil's eyes narrowed as he waited. 7...6...5...4...3...2... "I just simply said I didn't..." 8 o'clock and Roman's phone went off. Virgil's heart dropped as Roman pulled it out and his face went white. "Uh..."

"Roman?" Roman glanced around his eyes only momentarily pausing on Virgil before he shook his head.

"I, uh... I have to take this." Roman literally jumped up running over to the other side of the room as Virgil sighed. He pressed the little button on the box he had and his heart just sank more.

"Anxiety?" Virgil could see clear as day that Roman had just said his name into the phone and on top of that... he heard it to.

"You know... I just want to say... I was hoping it wasn't true." Virgil could see Roman's eyes fill with total horror as Remus's voice, albeit changed through vocal manipulation Remus was REALLY good at doing. "I had hoped but... It really is you... isn't it, Roman?" Roman's eyes darted to Virgil who shot the man a smile as if his world wasn't tumbling away. "I want to hear you say it Princey." Roman nearly dropped his phone as he clenched his eyes shut. Virgil had told Remus he had to call him princey as that was what he called him. "Princey?"

"Hear what?" Virgil's heart broke hearing Roman's shake through the feedback from the multiple lines.

"I want to hear that I'm right. That your... that..."

"how is it the man who spammed me the moment he got the slightest bit anxious and insecure... also happens to be an actor with the world's biggest ego?" Virgil cut Remus off and listened to how it was repeated for Roman to hear. Thankfully the others were so lost in there convo they didn't notice Virgil had whispered at all. That is good though because his sole focus was on Roman. "I don't get it, Princey. The man I talk to is so... so... kind. He's vulnerable. He's... human." Virgil's eyes teared up as he saw Roman clearly getting upset, even from the distance they were apart. "But... The man I see, He's completely different."

"You just got to give me a chance." Roman was pleading, with tears falling from his eyes. "I-I know what p-people think of me... It isn't true. Just... just give me time. Give me a chance... please?" Roman held the phone up to him so tightly as Virgil sighed. It was radio silence over the lines. Roman wasn't saying anything because he was waiting for a response. Remus was saying anything because he was giving Virgil an opportunity to say something... and Virgil couldn't get the words to come out. "Anx please?" Again Roman looked over at Virgil as if expecting something Virgil just looked away as he whispered really quiet so Remus could on;y hear his response to repeat to Roman.

"Tell me that it's you, Roman." Virgil tensed as he refused to look up at the actor, worrying that Roman was still looking at him. "I want you to tell me."

"Anx, I..."

"What is your name?!" It was Remus this time who didn't bother waiting for Virgil to tell him what to say. "Say it... so I can hear you confirm it."

"Roman Black." Virgil jumped up and left the building without a second thought. That was it. The final straw... The moment he actually heard Roman say his name through the line he couldn't make an excuse. He couldn't say that maybe it wasn't Roman... Maybe Roman just so happened to get a call at the same time. Maybe he was hearing what was being said and he was just forcing his mind to think he was reading it on Roman's lips. But now... Roman confirmed it. Princey is Roman.

HIS PRINCE WAS ROMAN BLACK.

His whole body tensed as acid crawled up his throat causing Virgil to freeze and throw up the contents of his stomach right there in the parking lot of the Sands. He cried. That's all he could do. He cried. He cried as he stumbled his way back to the college... back to where he knew Remus was.

He made his way into the auditorium to find Remus standing there with a sad smile. Obviously Remus would know what would have happened. Remus had been his friend for god knows how long. If it wasn't for the fact that Remus had Cassidy many thought he and Virgil would've been a great couple. They just understood each other. They knew each other's strengths... and their weaknesses

"Virgil..."

"I hurt him, Ray" Remus sighed as Virgil slowly but surely walked himself over until the other had in his arms. "I hurt Roman. He shared something that made in so incredibly vulnerable and I threw it in his face. I hurt him... I hurt my prince."

"It's going to be ok."

"No, it's not." Virgil's voice broke as Remus just held him tight. "It's never going to be. I hurt him. I said such horrible things. He doesn't deserve it. He doesn't deserve me."

"Virgil I know what you're thinking... don't do it." Virgil just laughed brokenly as Remus rubbed his back. "I promise things are going to be ok. One little mistake isn't worth throwing it all away."

"It wasn't a little mistake, Ray. Him ignoring a few messages not realizes I would have an attack no that's a little mistake. Him letting his walls down to tell me something so personal and traumatizing for him only for me to use it against him to make him this bad person..."

"You didn't know it was him, Virgil. Please don't blame yourself." Remus frowned as Virgil shook in his arms. "Blaming yourself over something that you couldn't foresee doesn't do anything but burn bridges that should have withstood any storm. I should know... It's that same reason Roman and I don't talk. Don't do what I did. Don't pull away from him."

"I don't want to but..." Virgil frowned as he held on tighter desperate for some semblance of understanding. "I just... can't do this texting anymore. I can't take it. I'm done."
